The big money isn't going into TV anymore, on balance online advertising - short form video is really where it is at these days. I am also not sure how you propose to impose a tax on the community to pay for this, or indeed how you will achieve a consensus as to what an advertising campaign would look like.

ITs not a bad idea to seek good publicity and advertising would certainly be an option, but in the short term, more functional use, government consensus and practical stuff like that might be more meaningful.

TV advertisments are expensive as hell and since bitcoin is decentralized and there s no one actually being its owner i dont think its realistic or realizeable. And personally i dont watch TV that often so it probably wont reach the recommanded audience.

On Ukrainian TV (Western Europe) bitcoin and ethereum was already advertised  Cheesy

It would be very interesting to see how it was, and to know who paid for that..

I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?

It will definitely attract many people into crypto world and make them aware of digital currencies, could increase bitcoin value in the process too.
But who would actually advertise it? I think only possible bodies that can do this and actually earn from it are exchanges.

Online promoting is a low-cost and value powerful way of Bitcoin advt rather than going back again to conventional way of promoting on Television set which is a lot a lot more high-priced

I think if bitcoin advertise on t.v many people got interest to use bitcoin becuase many people now a days didnt believe in bitcoin and many people dont know all about bitcoin so ithink if bitcoin advertise on t.v , bitcoin become feymous so much .
IT is a wonderful idea to advertise bitcoins on T.V. We can ask a company who makes advertisements for other local businesses to give ads of bitcoins but again, it is necessary that the government does not oppose the idea and give permission for it. Media spreads the news like wild fire and this way everyone will learn about crypto world.

If bitcoin going to be advertised it should be a big company that accepts bitcoin as their main payment processor or a huge company that accepts bitcoin as one of their payment processors, companies like namecheap or amazon can do that , because it is not cheap to advertise on television especially if it is on national tv.

As a lot as Bitcoin has been a whole lot of entertaining and created most of us on below abundant beyond abundant, it is not that dawn of the age of aquarius, it is a service and a generation that will have its place and that is that.  The most use will likely appear from some of the coins created based mostly on Bitcoin, with some tinkering carried out to far better in shape the "gotta have it now" technology of gluttons.

I don't think this will work that way. No TV channel would advertise bitcoin as they may face legal actions.

For me it would be a bad idea if bitcoin will be advertised for sure our government will know more about this business and since we are not paying any taxes they will be alarmed but on the other hand it will be nice because it will encourage new users and possibly value of BTC will go up.

It was really nice if bitcoins will be advertise to the entire world using t.v. but then the price of endorsing in every station is very high. In some other point it will be also possible in ico's that are very famous and sold a lot of their coin because it will be very easy for them.

Maybe in future,TV can be good media to reach wide range of possible bitcoin users but running tv ads will cost so much and nobody want to pay those money from their pocket.

There will be no any incentive for the one who will pay for those ads. However I think we may see some tv ads in near future from bitcoin related local services in few countries to promote their services.

actually a television advertisement if it's run locally and it's relatively short can be very inexpensive, I honestly don't believe it's a matter of nobody wanting to pay the cost out of pocket it's simply that no Central Authority exist for Bitcoin in there for nobody has anything to gain by promoting it on television. that being said there are obvious advantages and disadvantages to promoting it in such a way, but it's obvious that because we don't see a bunch of local region Bitcoin ads which cost literally less than $5,000 for a month of running, that people don't see a monetary advantage in spending out of pocket to raise awareness about cryptocurrency. I guarantee you however you're going to see bitpay coinbase and possibly even PayPal with Bitcoin commercials in the future it's just a matter of Regulation getting in place before the major companies take it that far.

In my country I have not seen any TV commercial as well. But it would be great idea to do that. Instead of advertising bitcoin you could make a documentary about it or may be a serial of short episodes to let people know in deep what's the bitcoin all about. That way you can attract many people at once from the one family itself. If something is getting aired on TV then that gains value and visualisation gets more customer attracted. Most of the people understand documentaries clearly because it is always in detail. That's also good option as well.
yes it can be, many people will get interested on it, now i have seen so many campaigns or many ads in different social media now, and it reaches millions of people all over the world, and i thought it will be a very big help in that case, many people will be happy for that too, and in that case many investors will invest in bitcoins and the demand will continues to grow in different countries.

In my country, although not legally Bitcoin, but every week there is always a program dedicated to the Bitcoin market, this does not attract many investors but shows that my government is very interested in the market cryptoucurrency .

in a lot of ways I think that seeing an advertisement for any cryptocurrency on television is the ultimate barrier and the difference between something accepted as professional like gold and something that's a hidden internet secret like Bitcoin, Stephen Hawking however had a particular view of the universe when we sent the Voyager probes out in fact he said "if you're alone in the jungle at night is it really wise to call out?"

I tend to think the same way when it comes to cryptocurrency if we were Hidden and only now getting regulated by government authorities after over five years of autonomy I think that it's a good thing nobody has taken the steps to put cryptocurrency into the mainstream yet and I honestly hope nobody calls out into the jungle just yet.

It is a good thing if someone will make an ads of bitcoin in tv but the problem is it is not yet legalize and there is no one that want to spend their money to make an ads of bitcoin to show on tv because even in our country bitcoin is not yet that popular so they think it will just a waste of money.
