That amount, with which you are morally ready to leave, without looking back. At all different. Any investment requires planning, so you need to decide how much you would like to invest in crypto assets and how often - weekly or monthly. Set aside the amount for this purpose and wait for a good opportunity.

If you have more money I suggest a $2k because the more you invest the more profit you will receive this is rule of the game here it's just like a gamble. But it depends on you how you want to invest if you want a trial and error try to invest small amount then if you becaome successful try to adjust your investment to much more value.

A good amount for you to invest would be something that you can really afford to lose. Don't let people pressure you into putting more money than you can afford to lose into cryptos. Cryptos are very unpredictable, there are a lot of risks involved. There are times when you will be waiting a long time for the market to recover

no one can teach you what amount do you like to invest it's always says it's up to you either the big one or the smaller amount do you like to invest, and also read the whitepaper, concept and details of that project to make it sure that your investment will be succeed in the future..

I think it doesn't matter if you don't have such amount of money to invest. That's why it depends on a person if he can invest a amount that he wanted to invest in a currency he like to gain his profit.

You can start with any amount you want to. Many people start off with small investments like that 100-200s because mostly who invest are younger population and if we take closer look those are not the richest people out there in this world.

What is a good amount to start with when investing into crypto?

I see lots of posts about “I have $100 / $200, what should I buy” and most of the time the answers are with that amount just invest in an ICO etc etc.

I would be interested to know what people here consider a good starting amount to invest...and I know the basics of not investing more than you can afford to loose but for arguements sake, what’s a good number to start with?

I’m not so much interested from a whale perspective of investing like $500k or $1mill, more so the normal everyday average joe male/female investor who wants to dabble in the crypto market. Would it be $1k, $2k, $5k, $10k, $20k etc? People new to the game or interested to start investing in this space may find this useful so they know a rough number which would be a good starting point before turning  that into riches (the obvious dream).

For reference I initially started with about $3k (it’s not loads but it was a start) and over time I’ve added more and more (it gets addicting) into the pot as and when I have the money to spend and when the time seems good to buy.

The best amount to invest is the amount that you are comfortable or willing to lose. You've probably heard this before but it is true. If you invest in something as risky and volatile as crypto, you will either gain multiples of your investment or lose everything.

Make sure you do your own research and invest wisely. Good luck!

Its up to you either in that particular question you are the only one, who solely make and appropriate decision of what amount do you want to invest in "CRYPTO" but just remember always in "CRYPTOCURRENCY" world everything is a surprise and risk is always there so just be cautious and "INVEST" only those you can AFFORD to LOSE. because you are the only one responsible of all your ACTION!

The best amount for investing is the money that you are not afraid to lose because you will not panic when the exchange rate falls.

More money is better than less. More money you will put into any asset more you will get out of it. That’s common rule. But you must to understand at the same time that bigger sums are bigger risks also.

Now it is very risky to invest in cryptocurrency, because the market can continue its decline. Therefore, I invest a small amount of 2-5 thousand dollars.

I would say it depends on the quality of the coin you are planning on investing into. If you're looking to go high risk, and go after x20-100 coins, then you only need a small amount invested to make a fair amount of profit, e.g. You can turn $100 into $1,000, or even $10,000 but you need to pick the perfect coin first time. I would say starting off with $1,000 is a good amount for this type of strategy.

Yes investing is a very important concept for human life. First of all, you must know his presentation. factors such as your income, your lifestyle, your risk-taking status are invested. It all depends on your plans and ambitions, if you want to be big, invest heavily, and take high risks. investment also depends on your ability and capacity. You just invest what you have.

You definitely do not need to start with this amount to invest in ICO, especially now. It is best to buy some altcoins and hold. Invest in coins such as Ethereum, EOS, ADA, OMG and Ripple.

The sum of money invested depends on the amount of money you have at the moment. And the advice for you is to get free money to invest rather than borrow or sell your home because of the enormous risk in this cryptocurrencies market. If there are more than $ 10,000, investing in Bitcoin is less than $ 10,000, funding in altcoins.

In investing, Trading, I always applied the Golder rule "Invest what you can afford to lose" It's our money it's easy to say the amount but the question is are you willing to lose that? Bare in mind that Investing is risky if you don't know what your playing at.

Investing in a good amount gives you a better income but I think it doesn't matter if you don't have such amount of money to invest. That's why it depends on a person if he can invest a amount that he wanted to invest in a currency he like to gain his profit. But I think you have the money that you want to invest so you better invest in the currency like Ethereum.

For a student, working student, part-timer, or people with minimum salary can start at the amount of $100 because they have other priority in life like their family and study, they may use it to start while learning the basic of basic, then after this amount is increase then they can use the capital plus the earning to invest more. Intelligent person always start with little amount .So,I think new investors should invest with little amount in order to avoid huge loss.
It's in investing small amounts with cheap coins, if you want more, then look for something more promising in development and use, like Ethereum. Do not invest your entire budget all at once.

it doesn't matter whether you choose cheap coins or not. You can invest 1 dollar in every cryptocurrency as they have decimals, you don't need to buy whole 1 bitcoin for instance.
