Lately we have seen a lot of online casinos that are considering themselves as Web3.0 but in reality it’s just a name, they don’t over a real Decentralized experience for players.
So i want to know from you what’s are all the features an online casino should have to be considered as a web3.0 casino?

At first, some people claimed that web3 is different from web3.0, I disagree with this because Wikipedia even said it's same, web 3 or whatever you want to call it have everything to do with decentralization, the funny thing is some centralized blockchain projects are calling themselves web3, I don't know what they have in mind, it's like making a fool out of every crypto investors.

I hope that image clears some facts about what web3 is all about, now web3 with an online casino might work out only if the dev or casino owner decide to support the claim ( Decentralization ) this mean that there will be no need to ask customers for KYC or any form of identification.

Now the problem is, will the FED, SEC, LAW, Authority or whatever allows such a company to run their business? I doubt it will happen, unless the dev or owner decides to approach the same step that Satoshi Nakamoto took.

I would consider a casino to be actually 3.0 web if people were able to gamble and partake in any kind of event and bonuses only through the use of their personal public cryptographic keys. No KYC and provably fair would be mandatory.

However, I can understand some centralized casinos wanted to take advantage of the fever people had for Web 3.0 so they decided to use it as a marketing token and add some elements one could find on web 3 but without being fully decentralized. I still can appreciate a good casino even if they are not decentralized, I just would like them not to trick people and do not claim to be something they are not.

For me as long as it involve crypto and the rest of the technology that involves around it, I can call that as a web3 casino. Decentralization isn't likely to be achieved on a casino, the only closest one is Bitcoin but I can't tell if it can still be called like that.
You have a wrong understanding, most of crypto are centralized and any casino that ask you to submit KYC is centralized which mean those two reasons already ruin WEB 3.0 definition. Gambling using Bitcoin isn't decentralized too because you need to send your coins to the casino and the casino have access to your coins.

Until now there's no real WEB 3.0 casino, most of them are less decentralized casino.

There's no real decentralized on web3 as its real definition but the current web3 usage is just the implementation of blockchain on the through allowing players to play directly using their web3 wallets without the need to leave the balance on the wallet while playing, unlike the current centralized casino that requires a user to deposit balance on the given wallet address. Many so-called web3 casino is not really using even the part that they doesn't required user to deposit on their designated address but there are some web3 casino that use the proper web3 that use smart contracts on each bet so that user can play using their wallet.

A web3 casino must include the most important feature of player's maintaining custody of their bankroll. Meaning, the web3 casino has to connect to a player's wallet rather than settling deposits and withdraws. All bets have to be settled instantly. This provides some challenges for Web3 casinos because of a few reasons. Any blockchain that I consider secure enough to trust writing casino game smart contracts on also have scalability issues. There are some very promising ways to get around this by implementing layer two solutions but that is still in the early phases. The goal is to make Web3 gaming as seamless and user friendly as a traditional online gambling experience with the extra benefits, fairness and security of decentralization, imo.

In my opinion, it is the same as other crypto casinos because when regulations from the government have been fully implemented for all casinos, the word decentralized will no longer be used because there is already government intervention in supervising every online casino.

But if it's a feature, maybe it's something we already know where we don't need to register using email but we can register or connect our personal wallet to the site and start playing right away. And we also don't need to verify our accounts, let alone do KYC, which many crypto gamblers don't want.
What you say is all true, friend, and I agree with that statement.
What is really regrettable is the loss of decentralization within a casino and it seems that most casinos are like that.
After all, almost all casinos that exist always follow the rules that have been given by the government to continue to operate without having to have friction with the authorized government.

Web3-based casinos are the easiest casinos to use because some of their features are different from the usual casinos, but we as gamblers must always be careful and do research if you want to use web3-based casinos because there are several cases where casinos that say they are web3 based but reality is much different.

Web3.0 is just another hype word. It is not really going to change anything because I think it is not going to deliver its promise which is building a decentralized internet.  If they somehow manage to bring it to life, maybe we will see casinos that operate on decentralized hosting & domains but it sounds a bit too unrealistic to me. First of all, a hosting firm needs a very good broad internet line, how are they gonna get it without collaborating with the government?

I dunno... web3.0 sounds like a scam to me at this point.
You are not wrong, I too believe that a day is coming that the regulators will look for the founder of the decentralized webs and make KYC compulsory.

We should be very vigilant and careful to read the casino terms and conditions and also make sure that we know how the casino is working before we deposit money. If a casino can write it boldly on their site that they are not requesting for KYC, but KYC is compulsory according to their terms and conditions, we need to be very careful and know about a casino very well. It is even possible now that a centralized casino can come up and tell people that they are web3 but not web3.

Any casino that do not allow his users to connect to personal wallet are not web3. But many casinos nowadays are not web3 but centralized, yet what people are looking for.

Web3 casinos operate on web3 technology in a way that punters connect their noncustodial wallet to a gambling site in a way that payments are settled on blockchain, unlike the deposit and withdraw on centralized casinos.
