If Satoshi is for real and if he is there, living; I don't think it's a big deal for him to break any kinda locks you're referring to. If he could login here, maybe he's having some extra proofs in his account itself which would immediately make him prove that it's him, the real Satoshi.
Satoshi, the super hacker Smiley

but on a serious note, the "owners of the forum" have locked that account and nobody else has access to the database to change it but them. I think it means theymos and possibly Cyrus (needs spellcheck!) have that kind of access.

The word "profitable" seems to be a fit here because these guys are just attacking each other, trying to steal someone's identity and making a lot of money doing that which they don't deserve et al. I don't know why these entities are trying to get their shitcoins up while playing all that drama against the community, that too at a time when BTC is gaining back a lot of exposure, media and is now a part of mainstream. Are they trying stop something that they know and we don't?
I don't think they want to "stop" bitcoin. it is more like seeing an opportunity and wanting to grab at it while they still can and make as much money as the hype lets them to make before the market matures enough so that this type of shenanigans be ignored.

The drama results from the fact that bitcoin is one of the greatest human inventions and no one knows for sure who the inventor is, though people may speculate. Also, there is a lot of potential profit for those who can convince people that they are Satoshi.

These elements are what stir up the drama in this industry.

If you are the real Satoshi, you already have 1 Million bitcoin at your disposal, what more profit would you want? Those who claim to be Satoshi just wants limelight and fame, which in my opinion contradicts how Satoshi would be.

it is simply because it is profitable to do so which is why everyone is trying to steal that identity, most of them don't go all the way though but all of them have the same goal. and as long as the community pays these scammers attention, they will continue doing what they do.

nobody can because the satoshi account is locked to prevent abuse in case it was hacked or something.

1. Satoshi cannot login to this forum, without contacting the admin's (Theymos or cobra) first. The 'Satoshi' account is 'locked' for 'security'.

2. Yes. It's all starting to look like a kind of Quadrilateral PsyOp to me!

People love drama and can't get enough of it, instead of discussing technical aspects of crypto we would rather make this gossip corner like TMZ.

CSW and Mcafee definitely know how to keep people entertained though, that is for sure.

The latest fuel for the hype machine is in which this paul solotshi who is a encryption specialist who many who are claiming him to be satoshi. They are saying craig wright got the hard drives which hold the wallets and the private keys to those hundred of thousands of bitcoins owned by satoshi. But these hard drives are encrypted. So he is trying to decrypt them and once he does then he will be able to sign the messages to prove he is satoshi. But he wouldnt be. It was this paul solotshi who created those wallets and the real owner of those private keys.
Craig wright would just be taking the credit of owning them because this guy is a cartel boss and had six people assassinated apparently. Undecided

As for me, only few people know who the real Satoshi is and we can't just guess his identity. There are people who are trying to pretend that they're Satoshi but no one could prove it. Some of them only seeks attention and only wants to be on the mainstream.

I guess this is the normal act of crypto lovers, they wanted to know who is the creator and what he/she/they can share more to the community of crypto.  If satoshi really revealed for sure bitcoin will never be the same there will be so many speculations that can happen in future and even manipulation can now really happen.
For sure the real satoshi wouldn't reveal himself/themselves. They are smart and I know they know what can really happen if satoshi finally introduce to crypto community.

I'd say the whole drama is just about money, or CW is a psychically unstable person who is fed with media attention. He wants to prove something, but he can not do it in any way that would undoubtedly prove he is actually person we all know as Satoshi Nakamoto.

Even if he somehow managed to get Satoshi private keys and sign message, or if he manage to log in to this forum - I still would not believed that he is Satoshi. If we read just few post from Satoshi, anyone who uses little brain would be quite clear that we are talking about two completely different persons.

Some of the closest associates of Satoshi Nakamoto described him completely opposite from what is CW. Perhaps one of the best descriptions comes from one close associate, today already legendary Hal Finney.

Today, Satoshi's true identity has become a mystery. But at the time, I thought I was dealing with a young man of Japanese ancestry who was very smart and sincere. I've had the good fortune to know many brilliant people over the course of my life, so I recognize the signs.

When your coin has failed to become the real Bitcoin?

When your prediction about Bitcoin price fails numerous times and you want to avoid the pain of eating you own D**k.

What would you do to keep yourself in the news?

Start claiming something new and that's what they both are doing and actually they are very good in creating Fake News.

This is evident with the number of followers they have and the mass coverage they get from online media as well as the crypto community.

I don't really get it what's in the benefit of Satoshi if he is found? Or what is actually good for the commission if he's revealed? I don't really believe Craig Wright to be Satoshi, you know why?

For all the Satoshi(s) in the limelight, I've got one question here, if you've not got they keys with you to prove yourself as Satoshi -

People love to chase mysteries and this mystery is the biggest one since bitcoin appeared to the public. Now there are always some opportunists present in the market who tries to manipulate everything to their own favor, CW is one of them! But he has really turned the tide for his altcoin, BSV!

There are several simple non technical ways to prove the identity of Satoshi! He can either post using his bitcointalk acoount. Or he can send a small amount of bitcoins from his holding of 980,000 bitcoin to a pre defined address! Unfortunately no one has done any of these yet!

This, just this. Or public sign message from any of his wallets. All others are impostors, attention seekers, or simply trolls.

I must admit these "news" attract a lot of views, anyone reporting on these faketoshis are sure going to get some nice amount of clicks/views.

I know how we've been through the roller-coaster type journey of a decade with Bitcoins and the skepticism we've all had in our minds about the identity of Satoshi, and then everything started off like this:

May 2016: Craig Wright claims he is Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto

He failed to prove that he is Satoshi during then, still just tried his best to poke the community every now and then to make them believe he is the creator of Bitcoin.

Nov 2018: Another 'Satoshi Message' Attempts to Sway Public Opinion, But Fails

And then, this:
A "dicksucker" claimed he knows Satoshi and he'll leak him to the community.

April 2019: John McAfee Says He Knows True Satoshi Identity, Promises to Reveal It Soon

And then, the April Fool:

While all of this happening, a website was formed during this timeline which claimed to do the same - reveal Satoshi.

May 2019: Satoshi Website Triggers Countdown to ‘Live Unveiling’ of Bitcoin Creator

Fucked up already? Don't be, there's more.

May 2019: Craig Wright Attempts to Copyright the Satoshi White Paper and Bitcoin Code

I don't really get it what's in the benefit of Satoshi if he is found? Or what is actually good for the commission if he's revealed? I don't really believe Craig Wright to be Satoshi, you know why?
