Bitcoin and ethereum I believe is the best and I am now holding it and investing it, so with this coin I believe will get a big profit from my investment, and this coin is the best.
I personally follow ICOs mostly at this moment, as ICOs have more chances for success, of course the case is to choose right project. Look for projects at IcoGuide.com the platform is very good, they have very good blog also for newbies.

It is better to keep your money in tokens from the top 10 than in the less popular altcoins. The market now depends on the cost of bitcoin, so it is the most significant coin.
I think if Ethereum Coins is altcoin and if you are interested to invest Ethereum then you should put all your capital on it because today's price of Ethereum is being thrown out dramatically so this is an opportunity or you have a chance to invest.

Its better if we divide our investment on bitcoin and altcoin. I am divide my investment 30% on bitcoin 20% on ethereum and the rest on altcoin. I am using that calculation because bitcoin still have biggest market cap in crypto

It is better to diversify your investments and have in your portfolio as bitcoin and etherium, as well as other altcoins. If you have free time, then you need as much as possible to pay attention to the analysis of new promising coins. 
It is too silly hold all your deposit in alt coins. When the market goes down you will lose both in crypto and cash balance.

You can choose ant strategy you like to make money but you should have back up fund. I'll not tell you which crypto is the best to replace money but have back up plan is better, specially at this time. We know down trend still running and buy back is a good option you have. Image if you don't have any money to buy back, your target plan is impossible to reach. Think again what I say and good luck to you.
Altcoin and Bitcoin both markets are now highly volatile so you can split your investment. The better way is split it into 50% BTC and 50% alt.

I'm holding 50% are bitcoin and ethereum,30% in NEO and 20% in altcoins. I think invest both is better. So you still have a share of the capital to invest in altcoins and you can take profit from there. For me, bitcoin and ethereum are long-term, NEO is mid-term and altcoins for short-term.
No use to sell them at current, already very down these days. I have hold them, I have invested in December-January 2018, and I am at great loss up to about 50% or more, so there is no option other than holding and wait for the things to improve.

Everyone chooses for himself what is best for him . It is better for me to invest in Etherium than in other altcoins
I think it's better to keep half your money in bitcoin or etherum because they are a potential long-term crypto, while the other half you can invest into altcoin and you will get the maximum profit.

I suggest, If you want to invest safely hold your money in bitcoin or ethereum, but if you want to make big profits quickly, you have to invest your money on ALT. because ALT it is easy to get up and down.

It think the best option would be to divide currencies into 2 parts, 50% in bitcoin and remaining in few altcoins like Ethereum, Waves, LTC etc.
