You mean sports betting is same like investment. I don't think so because sports betting is a part of gambling, and i am not consider that gambling like an investment. Even we earn and use money in gambling, but gambling total different from investment. But in sports betting, many people win in it, may be that reason they think it is an investment. But in reality it is not.

yes right sports betting isn't an investment its a gamble maybe they have some capability to analyze correctly but there's still a risk
even small odd loses when luck is not with your side unlike investment if its legit you can make a huge profits just barely needed
of time to research and study.

I think there is no difference because if our analysis is right in one match then you will get a profit but if you made a mistakes you will suffer losses is same if we choose the wrong investment? we will got losses too.

Ok we do consider investment to be risky but not wagering at least in my dictionary. Investment has an attribute of speculation where person earn through risk of money value of commodity but in case of gambling, no commodity is there and risk is related to happening of an event!
So gambling is just for fun game, nothing else.

For most people sports betting is gambling, but for a professional sports betting is a source of income because he uses personal strategy to guarantee himself a positive average return.

i agree with you it is on what they have been playing and what they are they thinking they are doing. but for me , gambling is a mind playing game that consisting of many problems to be solved that needed our luck and skills.

In gambling if you don't learn and know how to control your emotions especially greediness you will fall out of nothing but to lose all you have .The ponzi is a kind of investment which you have a high risk same as gambling but the difference is you will not play for risk unlike gambling you may control it sometimes.
