I think his goal is clear. Just make some more money out of it and sell off all his holdings. He is misusing his popularity and position.
What is the use of Doge? It is just another crypto. Why is he promoting it like crazy? It is obvious he is doing it to get some financial gains and once he achieved his that goal, he will dump leaving everyone else in loss.

Since 2013 Dogecoin has been in the crypto space and has always survived according to market capitalization from year to year so you don't need to hesitate for Dogecoin because he will not die in the crypto space even though Elon Musk's influence will diminish on Dogecoin.

I watched an informal interview about this and the main reason why would he do this due to the fact Dogecoin as a memecoin.
he asked to the interviewer, what will happen when a coin that is supposed to be a memecoin becomes a real coin/currency?
that was what he say, I do not know whether he is one of the holder but I do know sometime he likes to troll people.

Elon mask's one and only goal is moon. His dream, his thought, his achievement everything related to moon. Where a person's every work is related to moon then dogecoin is another part of it. His goal is also to reach it on moon. He already launch the rocket and the dogecoin is in the middle of moon and earth. So very soon you will see that dogecoin is in moon and sending signal to elon mask to tweet it on twitter. I don't know Elon Musk's purpose in supporting Doge coin but I do know that he is one of the biggest owners of coin doge in the world.
It is clear that the doge price increase gives him a lot of profit, most likely one day he will sell out the doge coin and turn it into a pile of trash.

I agree Elon Musk does not need money from Dogecoin, Elon Musk does Dogecoin shilling on twitter just for fun. And I believe Elon Musk won't
do that for long, he will eventually get bored and maybe try shilling other coins. So it's best to watch out for people who want to buy Dogecoin
right now, the price is too high to buy Dogecoin now and could be dumped in the near future.

You mean Elon Musk will take dogecoins into any other new platform from crytpocurrencies? I do not see any chances for that to happen. Dogecoin will stay with us forever and it will be enjoying higher rank into coinmarketcap, thanks to Elon Musk, and nothing else in my opinion. At the same time, I cannot agree that Elon Musk is not looking for profits from Dogecoin pumping; even he is a richest person, I doubt that he will not prefer profits from dogecoin pumping.

They are wildly pumping dogecoin only because it is highly profitable for them. If you notice, dogecoin is taking break in pumping time to time which might be the profit booking phase of Elon Musk.

He has no goal, that is the point, dogecoin is a meme coin and we know that Elon loves to make memes and play with his audience so he is using the coin exactly the way it was supposed to be used, just as a way to make fun of other people and the market in general, if Elon was serious about dogecoin then we will see him and his companies investing in it heavily and yet he has only done this with bitcoin and we must not expect this posture to change anytime soon.
