still I don't have the correct perspective of cryptocurrency field because it changes every time and it will continuously not stable in one. Crypto world is not dying despite the disappointing hacking of those exchanges nevertheless the overall market sentiment is responsible for the downtrend experienced throughout last year, however as the market is showing some sign of recovery hopefully things will come back to normal with positive news surrounding the SEC ETF approval and launching of bakkt.
Hacks and scams are normal thing in this digital world. To be honest, hacks don't actually affect the market (unless a huge hack has taken place and stole considerable amount of coins) in the long run. It can create some buzz to the price in the short run, but eventually the affect disappears once the market becomes stable.
