Everyone knows BTC is king so everyone will return back home

This was true up till now... but if Bitcoin will stay the king is more in doubt than ever.  That was the point of the meme.

Are you sure about that? Are you willing to exchange your BTC for other coin? If you think another coin can take the lead away from BTC, then buy that one and become rich, but it's easier said than done.

Crypto is a way for people to become rich speculating like we've never seen before, it's bio/startups/penny stocks on steroids. Anyone could be holding the right coin that goes 100-1000% and become a millionaire, but they know that when they get those type of gains they are going back to BTC and they will sell a part to their fiat currency if they live in a stable country and leave the rest in BTC because BTC is becoming a solid gold alternative.
Yup agree BTC is becoming the gold alternative for many people currently dealing it. As it is giving a more wide range of earnings with the passage of time and people are taking real interest in it rather than going for something else. Even after trading the alts they once again come back to the BTC.

Crypto s growing and developing, that s what s happening. Everyone holding any significant amount of important first 5 crypto will be a very rich person in 3 years.

So, if you still don't have enough, give your best accumulate every single sathosi, ether, dash of factom you can place your hands on.

If you do have enough, well, if I were you, I d go and pick a colour. For your Lambo!  Grin Grin

Cause it aint gonna stop.
Yeah no doubt that crypto is developing every next day, the best example for it is the acceptance and the popularity that it has gained not only in public but in countries by the government. I guess the alts are not that stable and cannot be predicted as the secured ones but the BTC is the real king of crypto, the father of all it’s the best time to collect it more.
I completely agree with you that it is Bitcoin that holds the leading positions in the crypto currency market, Well, then why do some users design for Bitcoin investments in other crypto currency coins? What is the more reliable sense to spend on less reliable coins.

Bitcoin is experiencing it era where every four year it has a certain limit if that limit reach the demand would go up and then the price will also go up but when the era ended the bitcoin price will go down again this time we have the era of bitcoin.
And when that era would happen?Considering that the last halving would happen on 2140 as far as i remember which means even on your lifetime you wont witness the existence of bitcoin on those future days.Value do really increase since supply do decrease its already understandable and even there are altcoin they might share in the market but bitcoin would still always on the top.

I think there is a correlations in terms of a bitcoin price hike in alt coins because when bitcoin is sky rocketing most of the price of alts goes red.
that is correct. Bitcoin is going insane and I can not understand why the price keep going up like that. All altcoins will die if Bitcoin keep being pumped like that. I have lost plenty of money due to trading

Ethereum is very strange since its properties are an asset are questionable and the centralised development team means that its supply could be manipulated at nearly any time.
Bitcoin in general might not stay "king" but it has its own properties and immutability gives investors a certainty.  It's just going down a different path.
How can its supply be manipulated if there are miners which proof their work and generate eth? And soon there will be another system on which only the stake will be proved and thus the code will basically control itself, giving rewards to eth holders.
I think that bitcoin will stay as a king, though. It is just hard to imagine it being replaced even despite the fact that it is quite an inflexible currency and thus it will be had for it to adapt to new demands of people.

It´s an interesting fact that the main altcoins rise together and fall together as if the altcoins were seen by people as one thing, as if they were part of a pack.

It will be interesting to see when the alt bubble pops and if that money flows into BTC or not.
So the bubble exploded as expected, but quite sooner than expected I feel.
Check the polo charts now, everything in the sidebar all red, it was quite inevitable of course.
And yes, BTC is the king of cryptos and will remain so for many many years at least if not forever.

Eth has an insane marketshare at the moment and the price keeps increasing, I don't know about anyone else but I don't know when the bubble is going to crash for them. I thought it was going to and should have a long time ago, kinda insane at this point.

There are talks about an Ethereum ETF by the SEC and if and when it is approved then the price would soar further more from this situation ,you might see a small correction but that does not mean that the price will go down further and you must understand what the hype will be if ETH grabs the first opportunity to open up the ETF.

If the Bitcoin ETF wasn't allowed by the SEC, do you really think that the SEC would allow an altcoin with really no real usage except for trading to be allowed to be traded. Eth is a disgusting amount more volatile than Bitcoin was and it faces the same issues when it comes to exchange trading and the amount of risk that would be faced by investors that would be looking into buying into this.

The SEC is going to be looking out for the people, or the banks and such who are telling them they don't want to see people getting into all this crypto business. Either way, it's not going to be approved and the only reason the price is increasing at the moment is because of speculators and paid shillers getting the word out so more and more buy into an almost collapesed bubble.

Bubble is going to blow up soon, it's going to be a sad day when that occurs.

Isn't that Auroracoin in the beginning? I made 1.5 BTC with that one back then, but I was too greedy so I kept holding it, eventually dumped it on cryptsy for peanuts and ended up losing those as cryptsy left with the money.

Anyway the current altcoin bubble will burst but there's nothing bad in making more BTC with it. Everyone knows BTC is king so everyone will return back home until the next altcoin bubble to make more money.

See I've always been one of the people that think the altcoins are going to end up being destroyed one day when people go back to Bitcoin, but the tough thing is that I was saying that kind of stuff when ETH was at like $10 and I couldn't even think it would ever go up. I thought it was just going to simply crash and burn.

Eth has an insane marketshare at the moment and the price keeps increasing, I don't know about anyone else but I don't know when the bubble is going to crash for them. I thought it was going to and should have a long time ago, kinda insane at this point.

Bitcoin will always stay king bud, these altcoins may have marketshare but no one actually uses them for anything but trading and hyping.

I think the transaction being slow is because of the huge number of the people using it,
And I think pumping and dumping of some coins is normal in the crypto world.
There are many dust transaction which is spamming the network to slow down the process and to make things bad,it can be done by competitors who want bitcoin to have problems when ever the price increases and now the transactions are really slow and the average fees has also increased in the past few days, pumping and dump is a common thing in crypto world but this is a rally which the crypto world has not seen till now and that is the main difference.

Well, right now it seems that the price of some altcoins is beginning to enter the phase of correction but still this rise of bitcoin and other altcoins at the same time is proof that there is an increasing interest by cryptocoins in general between the people and they are better known. Also we have to keep in mind that Ethereum and Ripple have behind companies and banks that are giving them impetus.

We can use other cryptocurrencies in our trading and it's really a great way to earn bitcoin but what is really great is bitcoin and it's the most successful digital currency and what is happening is bitcoin is in it's era where the price is increasing rapidly.

Clueless!
I don't know exactly, but right now it is the most bullish I've ever seen it. There was a time when DASH and ETH were a few dollars, and when they hit 20 I thought they were over valued, but clearly they're still going. I don't think it's crypto gaining a wider appeal, but rather a few people with too much money finding a new hobby.

New money FOMO imho. When the new folks read about BTC being stalled on block size etc...again imho...they move to alts in the hope they can catch a ride
on a rising coin (LTC is an example).

Newbies do, what newbies do. Would be interesting to see what BTC would do price and adoption wise if the Bitcoin devs of any flavor actually reached an agreement
like the LTC roundtable did.....frack.....it could go to 5k in a month...if enough NEW money NEWBIES and FOMO action.

(have to sit down...got too excited) Smiley

There are many crypto currencies now and all of them start to grow, altcoins too. And almost everyday it appear new ones. So, now we face the dilemma in which one to invest, which one to buy and which one to trust.

It is quite an interesting time, we see a lot of coins steadily moving upwards and not all of them useless projects.  ETH is doing well but how far will it go, NEM I see as a real rival to ETH and a couple of other coins I think could soon show their hand, one of which is WBB which could be the rose that grew from concrete.

It is all a gamble with alts, just be in the right place at the right time.

Yes true, it isn’t bad to make BTC with the alts but one need to be careful and come with a plan while collecting alts as we know that after reaching to a certain limit the alts bubble is going to burst and before it reaches that time we should convert them. I am lucky enough that I don’t make such mistakes I am not saying that it never happened to me but once when I got dumped with the LTC I started to come with a plan.

Significantly there is a civil war within crypto world going on if you ask me. Some people predict altcoins may occupy more than 51% share on total cypto market cap. But I want only bitcoin to be holding the dominance.

I think this is the evolution of the cryptocurrency market and especially the altcoin market is not depending on the price of bitcoin anymore because even though the price of bitcoin is high, the altcoins are still unstoppable and they are rising continuously, i think this is the right time to put our attention to the altcoins because they are good for long term also.
