Hi guys!

For six months I have not followed the cryptocurrency market. I want to know the latest news. Please help me.

Most of all I am interested in the ICO and IEO market:

1. Is this market alive or dead?
Both Ico and IEO market is alive but  investors are not that enthusiast because of several scam and failed project of both method.

2. Did you solve the problem of scam?

Nope both does not solve the problem of scam, both project are still subjected to pump and dump and heavy manipulation.  Many IEO are just in for money grab and then they just let their project rot away.

3. Do you invest in projects or don’t invest?

After several losses from ICO hypes, and with the instant sold out of popular IEO, i either stay away or failed to participate in these projects.
4. If you invest, then what is the profitability?

Uncertain. But most likely you will be at a loss if you failed to sell ahead of other holder.

5. If you do not invest, then why?

More likely the project is just a money grab

The market has always been alive. Crypto market has never gone to sleep. Scam project abounds still, just locate good coins and follow them alongside bitcoin. We hope for a better market in the future.

1. the market is still alive, ico is still a lot to appear, STO is starting to be deserted its community and IEO has become an investment trend now
(2017 - ICO, 2018 - STO, 2019 - IEO)

2. No, fraud is always around us.

3. I have stopped investing in ICO / STO / IEO projects, I prefer to hunt for free tokens.

4. In general, the purpose of investing is to make a profit.

5. The reason why I don't invest is because I don't have capital, I depend on the results of the campaign for the next capital.
At the moment I agree with this gentleman here, I no longer invest in projects as my capital has gone almost to 0 in investing. I now only work for extra coins and tokens, like we did a couple of years back and that's how I was much more successful. I will hold a portion of the coins I collect if I see the project is promising and sell the rest for stablecoins, xrp, bitcoin and eth and a few other coins that pay with staking like vet and neo etc. I still have hope for making some profits but only if I actually take profits on the way. There are still too many scams in the crypto space but there are also still some decent projects happening.
Last year and this year are very different.
maybe last year what you meant was a glorious year for the ico project but this year on the contrary, the ico project only produced junk tokens and was useless.

1. the market is not dead yet, there is still a chance for new projects to develop.
2. no, the only good thing is IEO, but that only applies to projects that start IEO in large exchanges.
3. I invested in the IEO project only and it was only a project in big exchange.
4. I always get profit. all the projects that I invested in were always pumped when I first traded. instead of investing in ICO or normal trading, it takes days to get a profit. but if I buy a token during IEO, there's no need to wait a long time to get a profit. because the time to sell tokens with direct trading is only a few days away.

Not your Keys, Not your Bitcoins
I feel like the crypto crowdfunding is dead especially for the people who are looking to get rich by participating in ICOs. In some exchanges like Bitforex I've seen a trend that after an IEO starts the price gets pumped for a little bit, but that's not a rule of thumb. Also take into account that exchanges hosting IEOs input a lot of conditions on withdraws & in some cases even on deposits while and a period after the IEO has begun. You need to be very careful if you participate in these.

Legitimate STOs on the other part are strictly for the accredited investors in my opinion. No great STO will spend time and money trying to raise money from retail investors which we all know don't have deep pockets like the afore mentioned have.

I would suggest you be careful to invest in ICOs because most of ICO failed to give ROI to its investors. Try to participate in reputed exchange's IEO or invest in high rank established coins, because scammers are always busy to steal people's money! We can't erase them but if you research well then you won't fall in a scam! To me, I only invest in established coins nowadays. Bitcoin, BEAM, MATIC are my first choice.
Market crashing is not a big issues on long term investors and day traders also manage the situation. But beginners are suddenly participate in medium trading so they only suffer this situation. Bitcoin is always good to invest on any situation and Beam is nearly close the 100th position and this is purely follow the Bitcoin way so little hard to survey and finally Matic is a above 100th position in crypto market, But this one is continuously dump on last three so I never suggest this coin. Top 20 altcoins are easily find the best coins in trading.

1: The market is still alive and growing
2: The problem of phishing has not been solved, phishing projects are constantly appearing and there is no way to limit them.
3: I do not invest in new projects
4: I think it is best to invest in the 10 coins with the largest amount of transactions in the market, investing in a new project is risky.

Welcome back,
ICO and IEO both are proved trash in most case, I found all the projects useless. You will discover it soon as well. Scam is not possible to prevent unless investor stops investing in ICO.
There's a new forum being developed you can see in most of the signatures, don't worry, that will bring you all the latest information  Cheesy

Market is so much alive and nothing much have change in the past months other than bitcoin surging and altcoins suffering, few bitcoin dominance got thrown in and ETH was able to recover a bit back to 215$ when bitcoin loses dominance and finally bakkt eventually happened which unfortunately doesn't have any good impact to crypto market like many was expecting

It is simple yet complex at the same time. As of right now, the crypto economy is a highly unregulated sector with little to no guidance besides a few regulatory bodies around the world that have issue statements regarding the legalities surrounding crypto.
In the U.S, the IRS is one such organization that has issued a small relative amount of guidance for cryptocurrencies regarding taxes.
The SEC is another regulatory body that has also issued relatively small amounts of guidance. However they are the main culprit behind the current state of ICO and IEO's. Most of the tokens and coins issued durring these fundraisers raise red flags of possibly being considered securities. Many startups are effected, and many crackdowns have taken place. This is what has stifled the ICO/IEO progress.
The cryptocurrency sector is a wild west that operates within in many gray areas of the law, due to it being a new sector within finance. Some of the old laws do and don't apply to cryptocurrencys.
It's simple yet complicated to explain. Hopefully the crypto sector and the governments across the world can meet at a middle point somewhere so innovation isn't stifled completely. These things take time of course.
 Just my two cents!

There have been positive changes in price since 6 months ago and this has given the majority new hopes. The only problem right now is that the altcoin market is at a much lower price compared to BTC. Your questions have already been answered many times and the only answer I can give is that most thing is the same. And lately IEO is more common than ICO so if you look at them who are in big exchange, you can make a profit.

Been monitoring few projects lately and most of them failed with their sales even ICO or IEO specially of the IEO is not on reputable exchange. The market currently isn't good compared to past few years. Lots of project investors stop investing because lots of scammers are roaming around and even created scam projects

My answers:
The market is more likely dead than alive.
No, I do not invest. These investments are a waste of money. There is no profitability.

BUT: I fully admit that the industry can recover. I would be glad about that.

Well i don't advice to invest in IEO and ICO at the moment since the market is very hard to attract investors for ICO and IEO and also, another reason why i don't advice investing on IEO is when the token hits on the exchange after the sale ends, the bounty hunters and some investors will sell that coin and it will ended up dumping the tokens thus that will be the end of it.

1. Is this market alive or dead?

ICO looks to be a thing of the past now and IEO isn't gaining much interest of recent. So I'd say the market demand for both ICO and IEO are sinking with each passing day.

Quote
2. Did you solve the problem of scam?

In a space like this, Scams will always exist. But with IEO, It can be reduced to a great extent thanks to the fact that exchanges handle all the financials.

Quote
3. Do you invest in projects or don’t invest?

I only invested in situations where I'm qualified. Note, This is different from having interest to invest. Most exchanges use a lottery system like binance. So my investment depends on whether or not I get a winning  ticket

Quote
4. If you invest, then what is the profitability?

It was good in the earlier projects. But recently, The returns have been dwindling.

Quote
5. If you do not invest, then why?

I won't invest If I feel the probability of it being profitable is slim.  Aka too many risks for so little returns.

I hope I was able to answer your questions.

2. No.. the scam are still going on especially in ICO's..
3. Nope, don't have extra money yet to invest in projects, only altcoins
4. Well I already earned profit when ETH was pumping so it is good to invest in altcoins.
5. Investing in ICO and IEO nope.. but altcoins.
