what is meaning of 1st half money line in basket ball??
what is first half under 1 , 0.75 ,0.5 in football??

please explain me..dont give me links of sites to refer just explain in easy way..
thank you..

this is probably asian handicap. I guess. I don't think I can explain better than any site around.

And first half is the first half result, that is, what is going to happens in the first time, not counting the second.

And the under thing probably is the number of goals, might be overall or of each team. You might want to be more specific about your doubts

Money Line is a sports bet in which the Name of the person or Team just has to "Win" outright, no points involved, JUST WIN!  Wink

and if a team were to tie or draw with a money line bet, the bet will be graded as a push and you will receive your bet back.
Are you sure when match draw,my bet will be push or refunded my bet? Where you bet and got refunded bet when you bet money line and match draw you bet will refunded?

It depends on the sport and the specific bet type and the casino.

I don't bet much on sports that can have draws, but a good rule of thumb (not 100%, check before using money) is that if the area you are placing the bet has an option to bet on a draw, draws will NOT be graded as a push. You will probably get better odds on those 3 way bets fro a team winning to make up for that, but double check before you make the bet.

Here you go:

I am not banned from google so I was able to find this link.  If you need more I can search again, there are plenty of resources.  You could also try Bing if you are feeling adventurous.  Stay away for Yahoo though.  They are always trying to install a toolbar on me.

Yahoo doesn't install a toolbar. That usually happens when you bought a 3rd party computer with installed malware or you downloaded some program like Mcafee which automatically installs some tool bars.

DId the football bet say under 0.75 ? Because that is same as 0.5 ,and shouldn't be listed.

No it is not the same. If you bet on either over 0.5 or over 0.75 and the score is 1 goal then both beth is indeed a winning bet, the difference will be on the payout of the match.

You will receive 100 % of you winning depending on the odds if you choose over 0.5 goals and if there is 1 goal but with over 0.75 goals, it means that you will receive only 1/2 of your winning depending on the odds if there is only 1 goal and you need 2 goals to get 100 % of it

i.e Manchester United 1 : 0 Chelsea

Bet on over 0.5 goals with the odds of 1.02 then you will get the entire winning of 1.02
Bet with over 0.75 goals with the odds of 1.07 then you will only get winning odds of 1.035 (half of it)

P.S : the same concept as asian handicap

nice man!!
your concept is very clear and especially 0.5 and 0.75 one..

Yes you will need only 1 goal for both of it to win, bolded the part to make it clearer. You mentioned that it is unnecessary to list it but indeed it is necessary to list it because the odds will be different depending on what you choose.
Comparing it to over 1 goal selection, then it is quite safe to bet on over 0.75 goal so it is necessary to list it as well as some people might choose it

Directbet is the only site I see listing bets like +0.5 or +0.75 at different odds. So if A vs B , and you were to bet on A + 0.75 , then if that wins, then so does the +0.5 , even though +0.75 will have less odds in this case. I haven't ever seen sites other than DB actually offering it.

Not sure if I misunderstood it then. So wouldn't Over 0.5 and Over 0.75 be the same ? as both will need atleast one goal to win. I do realize odds might be slightly different.

Asian handicap is more risky than moneyline, I like and only bet on moneyline, sometimes you can win the money in moneyline, but lost money on handicap, that's why i don't play handicap, it is more risky although the odds are better, I prefer earning safe money.

And generally handicap has higher house edge, moneyline is better for betting on a better team/player.

Basically it is just denoted by ML on sportsbooks, and means you are betting on a particular team to win.

So A vs B - A ML , would mean betting on A to win. DId the football bet say under 0.75 ? Because that is same as 0.5 ,and shouldn't be listed.

In easy way, Moneyline betting is similar to match odds betting which means you bet on who will be the winner of the match.
1st half in basketball means 1st and 2nd quarter so 1st half moneyline is the 1st and 2nd quarter score combined to see who is the winner

In footballl, Over and under means the number of goals in the match which is 90 minutes plus injury time. So first half under X means the first 45 minutes+ injury time goal

P.S : this is the simplest way to explain this thing, it is not actually hard to understand some links in google if you tried though

What is Money Line?

This is a type of betting line which lays out the amount a player must wager in order to win $100.00, or the amount the player wins on a wager of $100.00. There is no point spread or handicap in this line.  In order to win a moneyline bet, the team wagered on simply has to win the game. Payoffs are based on true odds rather than fixed odds. The amount the player lays or takes may vary from game to game.

NFL games are popular moneyline games because the specific outcomes can sometimes be difficult to predict for casual players.  Moneyline games are also profitable when they win, which is one reason why the NFL is a favorite among sports gamblers.  An example of a money line is: New York Giants (-120) vs. New Orleans Saints (+130).  In this game, a bet of $120 on the Giants is necessary to win $100, while a bet of $100 would win $130 in the case of a Saints win.  The team with the minus sign is the favorite and indicates how much a player must put down in order to win $100.  The team with the plus sign is the underdog and indicates how much a player would win for a bet of $100.
