I would still rather be in a Japanese prison than a violent & neglectful prison in South America or the United States.

Me too but at least with certain other countries you have a chance of something approaching a fair trial. None of that rundown is remotely reassuring.

This is a nice roundup of what to expect if you're a cheeky chappy in Japan.

http://gaijinass.com/2011/01/02/7-brutal-realities-regarding-arrest-in-japan/

I always knew they were as close as humans get to being aliens but that's a nice affirmation.

He's in Japan and been formally with embezzlement. He's probably being held on remand in a Japanese prison until his trial unless the police are still holding him in a police station for more questioning. Japanese prisons are tough places, you don't get much food, so he might look slim by the time he goes to court.

Hope Mr K can get used to the life in Japan prison and lose some fat...
Even if he doesn't lose any fat, hopefully he can truly learn the 5 maxims as described in the video:

1. "Yes" with obedience
2. "Apology" with sincere regrets
3. "Gratitude" with humility
4. Benevolence and serviability
5. Thankfulness from the bottom of the heart

I guess he is still in Japan with some law constraints inhibiting him to go out off the country. I seriously hope he rots in prison.

Before he got arrested by the Japanese authorities he was managing a server hosting startup as far as I know.

I think, you mean tibanne.com, the first web hosting that accepted bitcoin.

Exactly, it was tibanne.com but I think he left it before he got arrested ?
He also owned kalyhost didn't he? And some other ventures too I think.

By the sounds of it plenty of people sit in jail until it's trial time in Japan. I guess Mr K is staring at a wall somewhere but I'm not sure he's capable of conceiving that he's done wrong.

Probably getting what he deserved after ruining so many peoples lifes and damaging bitcoin forever with his malpractice..

Although I hope his cats have gotten a nice new home, don't think there are many bosses like him around Wink
