It depend upon the game you play and accordingly one can easily tell you if luck will play a vital role during that time or will it be the experience that will matter in order to win the game and get the success in your gambling.

I agree because not all gambling are purely based on luck , sports betting for example and other skill and analysis based games like betting on esports , card games and so on . luck isnt the primary recipe to win on them but id say that experience matters the most . if your playing the game for too long , you will know if whos team is the best and if what card composition is the best to laid out .

For me I think both because first, when you gamble you rely on luck whether your a winner or not and also based on experiences from me & my friends, we tried a couple of strategies to see if we win but no avail so using a strategy is useless. My only advise for gamblers is weather been skilled or depending on luck, there will always be loses and the only way to overcome this is either to stay away from gambling or only play a little percentage of your bankroll. Simple way of managing bankroll is the only way for long-term success in gambling otherwise its just to quit completely. I really cant tell what we see in gambling that make it difficult for us to say goodbye.

For a gambler to succeed at gambling, there are three things that are badly needed and they are experience at the game you want to play, money for it matters a lot and the best platform. These things are crucial for success at gambling. About sports gambling, I think it is not bad to have some good bets when the leagues create pretty good hypes in the town.

For being a responsible you must need things that will bring some edge to you, playing with skills based gambling like pokers and sports betting needs
a good understanding and needs some extra analysis to pick the right strategy to use while playing/betting.

And like what you have said, inside luck based gambling like dice, most common to this type of gambling, you needs to wait for luck to come and enjoy your winnings.

I beg to disagree. There is nothing like luck in gambling instead there are factors that can be put into consideration to make gamblers succeed, just that most gamblers never follow the rules. Maybe you should start by following this few steps in any type of gambling.

It’s always important to wager what you are willing to lose in gambling but because some are unable to keep their discipline, they fail in this aspect. Many gamblers are so bad with research, they wait for everything to happen to them on a platter of gold, it is easy to succeed in gambling when a player is good with their research.

Both, of course, both are ingredients to become a successful gambler, the experience is how to stop when you are having a bad day in betting and how to stop in the midst of winning, luck is when you are having a run of winning but if you don't have the experience it's hard for you to know when your run of luck will run out.

I only know that in lotto is you just need consistency on taking care of your number until you get lucky and hit the mega jakcpot. But on other games, it's just going to make you have an addiction and lose all your money. Luck is the most important thing that you need when it comes to gambling and experience is another part and the combination could win you some if you are having your lucky day or you end up loosing if it is a bad day. I have seen threads here where people explains how they won good amounts accidentally while gambling, at the end of the day it is all about luck unless you are playing skill based games like poker or black jack.
