The way I see it is that successful gamblers experience gain and suffer loss but the most important thing is that something is left at the end of the day so that you can continue on gambling for the next day. Some gamblers are looking at this akin to an enterprise and so they usually rely on mix of factors -- certainly that includes experience and most importantly luck. There are gamblers who are superstitious and some even have rituals and will be waiting for some signs before proceeding to the game. And yeah, sometimes they can be funny really. I am wondering...is there a school or a degree in gambling?

I think gamblers need both, luck because we can’t deny the fact that it is more about luck to win, experience on the other hand, will help the gambler in making the right choices and decision on his/her bet. And also with a gambler with a lot of experience know the pros and cons thus, I think they have more self control over newbies so they will also know when to stop.

I think luck is the main things which act to win a gambling. because you can not use any strategy to win a gambling . But I think when you play in sports betting little bit of experience can make you a winner.

In my opinion, experience doesn't matter in gambling except poker where the more you play the better player you become, its a basically a game of luck where you win once or twice, but you lose most of the time.
