57000
 Wink

Unwantanium going to replace BTC?

lol

it's 57,000 and 333 years to mine it.

UNO is not going to 'replace' BTC but it will have a BIGGER price.
UNO is a store of value (cuz no inflation)
btc is a transfer of value (cuz market volume)

$2 invested in btc will be about $1 next year
$2 invested in UNO will be about $10 next year
(cuz no inflation)

What is truly interesting is that btc needs something like 1.5 mil a day in new money to break even. Ixc is the twin of btc, however there is no inflation. This 1.5 mil a day needed to keep btc price from sinking is unneccesarry for ixc. If you ignore the liquidity of the two, which of the two looks like a more stable investment.

i know this. There isn't much rain of coins in ixc.
Uno network right now 15 coins a day which is also tiny. Would with 4 billion cap (bitcoins current cap) use 300k$ each day right now - halving down every 2 to 3 months.

Bitcoins big problem was miners dumping and thus no incentive for investors so no adoption because no profit. That's why we need lower inflation coins, i think most will agree on: miners constantly raining coins is a pain and the main reason it can go down so low and for such a long time.

The premine , which was teeny by todays standards, has continually been paid as promised.

Ixc.

Ixc is the original btc clone and is merge mined. Inflation ended in oct and the coin is still going strong.

ixc is nice too. Holding that aswell  Smiley
Could have had a little premine though, not sure. But IXC will be a survivor too, no doubt.

Edit, ixc also has one of the highest hash rates behind bitcoin making it very secure

Unwantanium going to replace BTC?

lol

last time i heard someone say that was in a trollbox and it rose 200% in the days after that ...
not a children-coin
That's true about the rise.

I agree, I'm not sure that it will replace BTC but I'm pretty sure that it will be part of the basket of crypto that does...

not a children-coin or relying on hype or whatever. Main feature is: store value very good.

actually the topic was about second strongest sha network - so miners like it - how many other alts are out there that have a good pow-network after existing 1,5 years and additionally being low inflation? I think there are no others like this.

was today one of the very few coins with a big green candle

250.000 coins maximum to be created - mineable forever - pure pow

Remaining 57.000 coins to be mined over the course of the next 300 years.

Current inflation: only 15 coins per day
Halving: every 200 days
fast transactions

Unobtanium is second Sha-network after BTC

In case you wonder what a good alternative could be.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/uno-unobtanium-info-discussion-hardfork-block-1042000-merge-mine-wbtc-527500

- no more bleeding - real store of value - fine commodity - fair - no premine - very low inflation - bitcoin on steroids - established since 2013 -
