altcoin works unstable, sometimes an altcoin develops quite large, and fast, moreover the competition for each altcoin is so fierce. so, I think it's erratic. so far, for altcoin, I only pay attention to eth. I think it's the best altcoin.

Agree with you, I don't prefer XRP because even it is the centralised company compared to ETH, each company will have a different track record but at the same time, we need to consider the supply of both these coins and their developments. So there are many other different coins which have a huge ability in the market because a lot of coins has active developments in the market.
all depends on the development of the project and their coins on the market. all coins have the same opportunity to be the best, but all depend on their own market. because finally what determines is the market, how will their project be the best. They are not all direct competitors with one another. I think ETH and XRP are both great projects, but they're different products addressing different needs. It doesn't make much sense to compare them against each other.

I can not answer this question. I have more than 20 coins in my portfolio, which I believe. If I try, I can identify the 5 most promising in my opinion. I can not choose only one.

I like Nano, why? Because it has instant confirm and 0 fee when send, but is not the best altcoin in my opinion because also had some problem with sync on past, and also not doing good regarding price, but i like technology behind.

However the market is, always ethereum has got its place in the top among each and every users of cryptocurrency. Other than this we can separate altcoins based on various factors, importantly when separated based on price we've got cardano as the best for small scale investment.
