For me, the best that I have made is thru staking in buzzcoin for 1 month. 100% profit just from staking and I sold some of it after the price of buzzcoin has risen to 800%. Within that 1 month of staking, I have experienced an 80% loss of my investment and I tried to sell all of it during the loss but I realized that it's already at loss so why not just hold it and be patient? Well, it's worth holding and I have set a new goal/target price for it. Patience is the key.
The best short term investment is my investment in Civic. I got like 40X on my investment in civic.
Mined 20,000 blackcoins the first and only week of mining years ago with a simple AMD GPU at home. Didn't get rich but it was a pretty damn good move in hindsight.
Well that's why mining isn't really profitable sometimes so we should calculate everything or you just end up losing instead of profiting. Good thing you still at least profited to your mined coins like it's better that nothing tho.

Need we say more, OP? Bitcoin is the best out there because the growth rate with which it has grown within certain months and weeks since the start of the year is incredible and most of us the die hards even never thought of that.

The best short term investment I have ever made in bitcoin which actually gave me a huge return within two months. However, I want to share a story of a real-world investment here. Two years back, I have purchase a stock market linked mutual fund to save on taxes. Because in my country, if anyone invest in stock market linked mutual fund, it is non taxable. The capital amount gets deducted from your total income. So I have invested around 25k in that scheme. After investment, I almost forgot about because it had a lock in period of six months. So within six months I can't redeem from the fund.
After six months I got an email stating that my lock-in period is expired and I am free to withdraw the fund. Surprising, when I check the price of that fund I was shocked. The 25k initial investment actually gave me a return of 12K which is around 145% WITHIN JUST SIX MONTHS. I have never seen any other real-world investment which offered me such a huge return ever.
I have just started my adventurehere and in general in crypto currency. The best short=investment i have ever made was joining a signature campaign. In such a situation i just only need to invest my time which i didn't have a lot of. So i would recommend you bountys, air drops or just signature campaigns.Good luck with your future investments.

Mine is in Etherum coin because way back April I invested 5 Etherum and hold it and after that the etherum reach the 400$ market cap so In that time I sell all my Etherum and I am waiting for it to dump again and I will buy again Etherum hope it will works again.
I had bought some 1-2 Ether at price of 10USD. But I did not believe that the project would be big in future so I did sell it away after it reached 20USD. However I believe ethereum to be a long term investment now since there are many ICOs happening and all of those using ethereum tokens need ether as transaction fee and gradually if the crypto economy is governed by these services then ethereum will be one of the biggest crypto after bitcoin. Hence it is better to invest ether as long term investment.
It will always be bitcoins for me. When I started accumulating bitcoins the prices was about $800. No it's $6,000 and it hasn't shown that it will slow down or that it will go crash. The thing is even if it has been a year or so, this is still a short term investment in the real world. Usually investments take about 3-5 years and even 10 years to ROI, in bitcoin I've almost x10 my money.
The best short term earning that I made is through the ICO asset. It happened recently when the token distribution begun, the price started to pump higher in a small time period providing the profit. Lucky people converted to fiat and bitcoin, rest who ignored expecting for bigger profits missed because of the over expectation.

One of the best shirt term investment that I made is after I invested some of my money into a bank investment program. During that quarter of that year the bank is looking for possible investors due to their expansion. My investment grew by three percent. Well small earnings it can be, my money still grow in a short period of time without me doing anything.
The best short term investment that I made is during the time that a friend of mine needed funds and is looking for possible investors for his small Burger Stall. We talked and he is able to properly brief me with the specifics on how the business will grow and earn and how he can pay back the investment amount that im thinking of giving. Months passed and yes the business grew and my initial investment doubled. So for now that would be the best short term investment that I did. Sadly it lasted for a year and 2 months.

The best short-term investment that i have ever made is in ethereum because i bought at least 10 of it from the price of 0.05 bitcoin then it is already double my investment but i am confident that it will go up because of the good ICOs that are keep on launching so i will sell it for at least 0.2 per 1 ethereum so i can enjoy a x4 profit.
