you should go to currency exchange board located here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0

Remember don't go first with any newbie or untrusted person. Use escrow to be not scammed.Search for green trusted members.

Though this site is the most trusted as he can get the most trusted users on that board but maybe he should still compare some exchange sites to see if which is the best in term of rates and then choose the best.

I only ever use Coinbase and Cex.io for the purchase of btc.

Many people use localbitcoins.com and I have heard of some success using Ebay...but that's an over priced/high risk option.

Well... once upon a time I used mtgox but we'll save the horror stories for when you are older.

Honestly I prefer to "buy" bitcoins through ROI on the purchase of miners.

I rarely buy bitcoins, most of the times I am busy in earning it from various ways as trading gives me good  profits so I don't need to buy bitcoins, but if I have to buy then I will prefer LBC.

Coinbase is a good website according to me. I never had any problem with them and got the fund smoothly everytime.

However, if you wish to use altcoins to buy bitcoin then you can use any exchange website like c-cex or yobit..The fees are standard every where.

Otherwise, you may try localbitcoin to find a trader suitable for you and near your locality. You do exchange it online as well as physically by meeting the trader.

If you are in the US Then it's probably either Circle or Coinbase, They offer the best direct options to buy with a CC or a bank account for those in the US and a bunch of other countries too, Bitstamp was good for those located in Europe as well as BTC-E for international traders. Localbitcoins for peer to peer trades all over the world too.

How about this. Open all the top bitcoin website exchanges then look for the cheaper one. If it is just buying but you dont want to keep your bitcoin there, it wont be a problem. Just be sure to transfer it fast if you think about the risk.

That is right bitcoins price vary from one exchange to another. It all depends on the buy and sell order. With this also to add to the list I suggest yobit one of the best exchange platform I have been too
You don't only exchange dollars to bitcoin but you can also trade bitcoin to other currencies. It is where pumping occurs and you will surely earn.

What you proposing is actually stupid.
You are claiming that being lazy bastard and don't even care to check exchange background, ToS, security, staff, location, availability and many other crucial info is ok?
This way you will be scammed very fast and very hard. I would rather buy more expensive bitcoin on trusted exchange than risk all my money on cheap one.

you can try to buy bitcoins here at the forum too. there are people here selling bitcoin for a low price. but be sure that they are trusted, you can verify it from their account and trust. also try coinbase and yobit. or coinsph. i think they are giving low fees on buying bitcoins.
For me just better to buy at trusted site like what you given because you will sure that your money will be credited in your account while if you buying a bitcoin in users it is very risky.
thatss right, most of the online exchanges are trustworthy and i usually use them if i want to top up my bitcoins to the amounts i already have

You should compare the exchanges yourself and then decide what would be the best for you to buy, because there are a lot of exchanges offering bitcoins with different prices and fees so you cannot take a decision just by someone else recommending it to you, better you do some research before trading so that you don't regret your decision later.
That's right because just yourself can take a standard for how money the charges is in your opinions is very worthed for you. I think you can't just rely on the people's recommendation because the thought of everyone is different.

Fees are always high when you buy bitcoins. Sad

This stops many people from buying btc.

I assume that you don`t have a Coinbase account so you can`t buy btc directly.
thats true, in my opinion if you dont want to get big fees then you should buy your bitcoins directly from another person
yeah I think you can sell it in others they might not give you the fee, or you can offer to your bitcoin market there are many people who need bitcoin and they certainly will not attract a fee. in fact you can benefit from a higher rate
