If you want to buy it with your local fiat currency then your local exchange will be the best option for you IMO. There is also a service where you can buy btc from other people around you. The name of the service is btc2bid, you can try it for small amount.

Buying bitcoins from a person or merchants is quite hard to transact if the person if not trustworthy and doesn't have history of selling bitcoins. So for me, it is better if you will just simply buy with the trusted and legit exchange sites so that your money will be secured and you are going to buy it for real without any hassle.

If you can find local ATMs that accept Bitcoin, go for that option. If not, you can either look on localbitcoins for some sellers around you or you can find online exchange websites that accept USD or EUR or whatever to BTC.

Maybe try in ccex or in bittrex because this site is good to buy bitcoin and i think now getting slowly rise not advisable to buy. Wait the bitcoin down the price so you can buy bitcoin but if you have enough money to buy with it its better to buy now because i think before end of this year bitcoin can reach in 1000$.

I don`t know for you guys, for me best way is local buying. I have a guy to whom I sell bitcoins, simply I send him bitcoins he sent money on my bank account. Same thing is when I wish to buy bitcoins, I send him money he transfer me bitcoins. His fee is 5 % and I don`t think is much, very reasonable. For me that is the best way, I don`t like to go with other ways. This guy is another city so I do this with bank accounts, if he would live closer I would give him cash and he would give me cash when I sell, for me that is much better way then trough banks, but for now they are making things easier for me.

Why keep on asking where he lives? He already stated that above.

Well there are lots of exchanges that support your country OP, it's up to you now where do you think comfortable at you since you found Localbitcoin are not that best for you. If your concern is about the time waiting for WTB or WTS like you are stating then just be patient since that exchange is quite trusted.

You may look here.

As the site says:

Please note: When you sent money, be it digital or crypto, you must be sure you can trust the operator/exchange. Always do your own research regarding website security and downtime.

it depends on
- where you live,
- how much bitcoin you want to buy,
- how are you willing to pay for it (bank transfer, paypal, credit card, cash...)
- also on what price you want to buy at.
there are so many different services for each of these from coinbase and circle to exchanges like bitfinex and others like cex.io to places like localbitcoins where you can have other payment options like cash.

It all depends on what you value the most.

Do you want to buy Bitcoins fast, like just pay and receive Bitcoin? I'd recommend Paxful or anycoin.eu

If you don't mind to wait and want to pay less fees, I'd use an exchange. I personally use Kraken.

Depends on the possibilities you have in your area. Localbitcoins is one of them I could recommend, especialy if there are sellers from your near community. If you want something very practical you can use your credit card or ATM if there is any available in your town.

Have you tried LocalBitcoins.com or Cex.io, if you want to use Google properly you will find some options there.
Or you can also make a Want To Buy (WTB) thread on Marketplace section or find a Want To Sell (WTS) thread that sells Bitcoin in your area.

Localbitcoins is the only option available in my country as rest of the options are not easily available. This is only required if you want to buy from FIAT. If you already have dollars in paypal, perfect money and want to convert in dollars, that's an easy for you and you can choose any of the option.

Its really sad, Most of the sites have trading facility with most of the major countries. However local bitcoins is safely place to buy the bitcoins and the most of the people are reliable in trade and funds are also handle by escrow.

Op, you need to share some information first.

1. Where are you located? - Some country specific local exchanges can be good way of obtaining BTC.
2. How much personal information you are wiling to share with service which you will use?
3. How many BTC you need? Will you be trading BTC frequently or it is a one time purchase?
4. What payments method you prefer?

After knowing all that, it will be easier for us to recommend a good way for you to buy/trade/sell BTC.

If you have a bank account or Credit Card, find an exchange and fund your account, and then buy it that way. Simple, easy, should have standard fees. If you don't have that or just have cash, use localbitcoins in  my opinion.
