The biggest issue facing beginners in the crypto sphere is having the mindset that crypto is the fastest and easiest gateway to richness without much stress. They forget in a hurry that crypto requires patience, investment strategies, taking risks, and knowledge about crypto to be at the top.
Most issues facing beginners is that they are easily deceived by hyped of a very bad project without carrying out their research before investment

The biggest problem I faced as a beginner back then was difficulty finding the bounty that actually worked in my favor. To be honest, I joined bitcointalk.org because I wanted to gain experience as an altcoin project promoter that would also allow me to produce something to trade. But some of my attempt only ended up in vain because the campaign I was promoting failed. This will be my first problem.
And my second problem is about merit. Yes, the merit has made me have to vacuum for some time from the forum because my ranking had to return to newbie after some time being in the junior rank. I have to work hard and try to get it through the post I make. But once I know how this system works, it will make it easier for me to get it so I can become a hero member.

Fine, but the idea is to express your own thoughts here, not someone else’s:

Price Manipulation

By far the biggest issue in the cryptocurrency market is the excessive volatility. The prices of cryptocurrencies on exchange platforms rise and fall dramatically over a short period of time.
As a beginner on this forum, besides learning about crypto and helping around, you also need to become familiar with ethics, and passing somebody’s work as yours is simply not good.

Note: Slightly off-topic, I know, but in light of my temporary spree here, and how it exemplifies a situation, I think it can stand on its own right.

My 2 cents: Not having too many technical issues myself, the two main issues as a beginner were:

- Discerning what is correct from what is not (that applies to all media posts and forum posts).
- Finding linear comprehensible information (as opposed to assorted information where the above line applies).

Greed.

Most of the beginners think that bitcoin is quick-rich scheme, which is not.

Bitcoin is full of risks due to the fact that it is volatile in the market and you can't eliminate that but to deal with it. Its price is not only in a good movement, it is not always in an increasing price and you need to adjust depending on the market situation. Newbies or beginners should spend a lot of time learning the skills and the concept of bitcoin, especially the patience, so their progress will be on their hand.

My biggest issue when I was a beginner was that I needed a mentor, who will point what should I study first. Because when I first googled cryptocurrency and started to read about it, I've got a huge mix of coins/tokens names, new words, technologies, graphs. This all was covered with news about how quickly bitcoin and other alts gains. Very hard to figure out what is what. That is why a structured description is needed.

Current beginners are in even worse situation. When I started it was just about Bitcoin and how ICO raise funds. Not its staking, defi, liquidity, all that swap things, while everyone tries to cheat you.

The biggest problem that I experienced when I was a beginner in the crypto and blockchain space is that I don't know where to start investing my money and start earning cryptocurrencies because I know that cryptocurrency is full of scams and frauds. That is why it's a good choice that I knew about this forum because it helps me decide where I should invest my money and do other stuff to earn cryptocurrencies, such as participating in airdrops bounty and signature campaigns.

What is the biggest issue facing you as a beginner in crypto ?
They want to make money from crypto in a fast way which can lead them to have a misunderstanding about how to make money from crypto.
Many of them don't want to learn more about crypto because they think that after they bought the coin, bitcoin and altcoin, they only need to wait for a while, and then they will make a big profit.
That will not work if the market is not moving good, and they will only hold their coin without having a chance to sell it right away.
If they can open their mind to learn more details about crypto, they will found out that they will have a chance to make money, and that way will not only just in one way because they will see that many ways to make money from crypto.
But I think that the beginners now are aware and want to learn more about crypto because they learned from other people mistakes, and they don't want to get the same experience as them.

What is the biggest issue facing you as a beginner in crypto ?

In my opinion the biggest issue for beginners in the crypto world is being overwhelmed by huge number of different coins available. When I first started out with cryptos I just focused on bitcoins. Any newcomer I would make the same advice. Look for one or two coins you heard something about before (this is likely going to be BTC or ETH) and just focus on them. It's easier to learn a lot about one coin in particular than looking at a different coin every day, also the risk of getting scammed is much lower like this.

You have mentioned the common issues that a beginner is now facing in this crypto world, internet connection is really important if you want to have good access in cryptocurrency, your crypto wallet cannot be accessed if you don't have a stable internet connection, you won't do some crypto activities if you don't have the internet.

1. Some terminologies that I have seen in this forum, but this is not really a problem because I can search it through the internet, it just time-consuming but not a problem at all.
You will know those terminologies as time goes by, you will encounter many unfamiliar terminologies especially if you become an active member of the forum, not only in this forum but in the other branches of the crypto world.

2. I am also worried about how can I really secured my crypto wallet, I am now using electrum. I have search already about this thing but I think it is not enough.

My biggest issue here is that I don't have skills and I just want to earn money. Then I understand that cryptocurrency shouldn't be rushed, cryptocurrencies are not an easy money and you need hard-work and skills in order to make it profitable. I only aim about making money, earning profits, growing investments, and etc.

I know that most of us have that kind of mindset in the beginning but that's really not effective. Cryptocurrency and blockchain technology should be studied and understood so you know how it works, how it will help you as an investor, and how it will make you a successful individual.

As a beginner, I believed In my self too much and I jumped into a lot of scam projects. Now I wish I've used all my money on bitcoin only.
As a beginner don't jump in any projects you see that has been heavily shilled or promoted. Why? These kind of projects are short term goal and has been pump and dump scenario. They could be sound legit but the real is they are just created to do PnD. Not really advisable to beginner cause the loss could be massive. Even professional traders playing with these tokens are also losing. But there are other potential coins and tokens aside bitcoin that have potential.

Thats the problem with beginners, always listen easily to other people's recommendation without checking the project themselves.

It is difficult to start looking for basic information to begin with because there is no identification of the weight of the information. Since joining this forum, I've been trying to explore sections of the forums after a few months and I've realized a lot of information that I didn't understand as a beginner. That information is likely to be of an advanced level. Grammar problems also seem to be an initial problem so it is necessary to explore more to find other information that is easier to digest.

What is the biggest issue facing you as a beginner in crypto ?
Probably the biggest issue that I'd ever faced when I was a beginner in crypto-related things is to believe on every promotions/investments that I am seeing on social media and those some that are sent to me by my friends, not thinking of the risk that it has.
I believe it's pretty normal to encounter since at that time, we are just beginning to learn, so we can be literate. This isn't limited to cryptos, it can also be associated with other related things like stocks investment.
Proudly, I'd improved so much since I started.

About this forum, for me this is the real best place to gain knowledge about crypto in general and bitcoin in particular. There is plenty of information in English, but some local forums lack users and, therefore, content, and this is a fact I would be really happy to see improving, because supposes a real entry barrier for those who are not native or don't have the level or patience to deal with the language issue.
]Even documentation for bitcoin is available in different languages, Best search would be in English. One of the biggest obstacles is not being that good in english in particular. You will have to spend a double time if you were in crypto during the first five years . Thank you for pointing this out .

What is the biggest issue facing you as a beginner in crypto ?
Well, when I was a newbie I encountered a lot of issue in dealing in crypto starting from trading like what how am I gonna start knowing that I don't have any idea with it. The second issue was trust, I honestly don't know what platform to be used because I am not a member of this forum at that time. None of my peers know how it works so I received no help way back then. Fortunately, I made it to sort out. I also being easily swayed by FOMOs and FUD, since we know that time there's a lot of things like that happened. New means no experience and being ignorant is really tough.

What is the biggest issue facing you as a beginner in crypto ?

If you talk about crypto, the beginner biggest mistake is that they think they can earn good and easy money from crypto. This is not the case. You can earn good money by trading etc but for that you need to have complete knowledge first. Many people jump in crypto trading with less knowledge and end up losing their hard earned money.

I agree that this could be one of the biggest issues for beginners. Knowledge is the key to any segment of human activity, including crypto trading. If rookies completely ignore the ample of valuable information provided in this forum and quickly hop into one of the promising earning opportunity bandwagon, they will certainly make a mistake sooner or later.

There's no easy way out there. Of course, you can be fortunate here and there at the beginning, but without proper education, you can hardly achieve anything in the long run.

I remember the time when I was still new into crypto, my biggest issue is the network congestion of Ethereum. I was about to withdraw my bounty reward for the first time to an exchange. It’s where I had a couple of failed transfers and I was scared that my hard-earned tokens are gone for good. However, I did find out that when the transaction is not yet confirmed by the network, I can still reverse it with the use of a proven online method. It did cost me some gas fees, but it was one of the intense lessons I’ve ever learned as a beginner. But on my third try, it finally went through my exchange account and successfully exchanged it to BTC. I never forget that issue as a beginner that time.

What is the biggest issue facing you as a beginner in crypto ?

I can only talk about my experience, when I was a newbie my biggest issue is understanding how this all things worked, because everything is very new to me, and I need to digest the information in a short period of time because not so many information are available and the technology is very quick to evolve, newbies now can easily learn this technology because there are now so many experts, writers and platform that can help you understand this technology.

Wrong understanding about cryptocurrencies is the biggest mistake by most of the beginners in Crypto space, they enters and buy bitcoin but looks to make profits from the next day then wants to become a millionaire in a year or two. No investment gives assured returns and crypto is not really an investment scheme.
