The common cause of poverty is laziness. Everybody can earn money nowadays, even if you have nothing you can still do things that can earn money. The reason why some people didn't achieve their goals in life and why they are in poverty is because they did not do their best because of laziness. Life is not easy, you have to strive for you to have a beautiful life.
Will you explain what common reason why some other country is still experiencing poverty and some person dying because of hunger because of efficiency on food?
Poverty is mainly caused by lack of eagerness for self growth or lazyness.doing nothing to change its present situation.there is no strong drive to have a better life.
It may be because of lack of education. Most high paying jobs require people that have atleast graduated high school and college but there are some who cant keep up with its expenses so they are left to rot on the streets. It may even be because of overpopulation. The jobs that you want to take are now fully packed with employees and staff which will then cause you some major problems and might even leave you wandering.
I don't think we should always put a blame on government, corruption, lack of education and so on. the main cause of poverty (aside from third world countries) is laziness. 
The main cause of poverty in my opinion is the corruption and lack of education, Corruption that cause slow economic growth, and unemployment for the locals of each country. Lack of education also for the younger generation, Younger generation who doesn't have any means and financial capability to study and have good education. I believe that education is a must to improve our lives. but education is very expensive nowadays and poor families cant afford that.
I think the common cause of poverty are poor employment , poor governance , economic problem, . Poor employment of a country can cause poverty to people, if the people are no job they cannot buy foods to eat , . Poor governance can also cause poverty to people , government with a poor leadership and have corrupt officials resulting the country to have poverty. Economic problem , this will result in unemployment of people ,no jobs for people means no food.
Poverty remains one of the most complex issues in the world with no clear resolution in sight.One of the causes of poverty is the poor governance. If corruption and political instability are rampant in these institutions, then the state will fail in fulfilling its responsibilities for the citizens and remain weak. In turn, high rates of poverty are usually found within countries with corrupt leaders, weak state institutions and no rule of law.
It is pretty easy, like A took lot of stuffs from B which makes B has less resource
I'd say, the major cause of poverty is unequal opportunity. People who have been well educated will definitely get great job, however, the less fortunate of the bunch who are willing to study aand learn but doesn't have enough money to pay for tuition, has the least opportunity. That's why we have state colleges and universities for them. This, somehow, is a gist of unequal opportunity for the less fortunate.
When people are lazy, they will stay under the poverty line. Usually that's the problem with citizens who are too emotional, those who loves sympathy, and those who can't live without the help of the government most of them stay poor.
The government too, when they are too concern about the state of their people who vote them, that's what pulling the economy down, instead of using the funds for infrastructure, most of it will become an aid to its constituents.

Honestly I believe that most of how most of the millionaires and billionaires make it in this world is inheritance.
The rich keep getting richer and thats why theres poverty.
The environment that these people grow up in and the education they are taught make it an endless cycle of poverty for them.

Lack of job opportunities because lack of job opportunities some individuals or person getting married without a regular or stable job.
In my opinion the common cause of poverty is Corruptions of the government and lack of access to education some because poor family their child searches an income to buy their foods so that they can eat every day, so that their child doesn’t go in school because the poverty they don’t have enough money to spend their child to school.
I think the main reason of poverty is corruption and poor governance, because if the government is corrupt they can't support its citizen to good education which is the key for us to have a better life.
Some countries are poor because of their makeup. When you have a non homogeneous country, internal squabbles and competition hinder togetherness and focus to have a common goal. This invariably leads to poverty.
The most common cause of poverty is illiteracy because a non-education person is unable to take any good decision and utilize that.

the big cause of poverty all over the world is our government, lot of our officials are corrupt. we are paying taxes but we dont receive any stuffs that comes from our taxes. some country has freewifi because of their taxes but in our country our internet is very slow compare to other country. another cuase is lazyness, their is no easy way to earn money we need to work for it.
Many factors are causing poverty in some countries, including an ever-increasing population that is not accompanied by adequate employment. In addition, corruption and low education are also the triggers and causes of poverty in some countries. The corrupt seems to have never seen the interests of the people, but only pay attention to his own interests and his group.

The cause of poverty is government, the less job that the government create is not sutable with the population of people that needs a job, also the cause is in the person itself, they dont want to look for a job they just wait until opportunity comes, but thats not it, you need to look for the job to have opportunity.

Laziness and a corrupt government. Majority of the world’s population is too lazy to get off their ass and seek out opportunities for success. Thus, they remain poor. It’s not your fault if you were born poor (blame your parents! 
). But if you die poor, then that’s all you! A corrupt government is common. Just too many parasites lurking around! They just want more, more, and more! Almost draining the society of its resources..Monsters in disguise!
