The phrase "smart person" is applied to all people who have a certain amount of knowledge, regardless of their age. That is, an adult as well as a child who cleverly makes certain conclusions can be clever. Genius is the greatest manifestation of a person's creative potential with respect to other people, the highest degree of giftedness in anything. As a rule, it creates something unique, something that before it was not in this world. The genius makes discoveries all the time, allowing society to make a qualitative transition to the next stage of development. The intellect and efficiency of geniuses are truly amazing.

For me, clever and genius are really two different things. You can say clever if a person does things with his skills that most people cannot do. On the other hand, being genius is above being intelligent or smart. When someone tells you that you are genius, it means that you're like Einstein. Clever is based on the things that a person can do with his skills while genius is based on his own thinking without having skills because its already natural or inborn.

Clever is just smart. Genius is a whole other level of smart. Basically very very smart.

In my opinion, clever pertains to people who generates ideas or solutions out of the box, while geniuses are people who scientifically solves a problem using methods which they learned from books and/or other "reliable" source...

In other words, clever is of art while genius is of science. I hope this makes sense Grin

Clever and genius are two different things .
Clever is someone who does the things instantaneously and apply it right .
Genius is someone who is very good at all .genius can be called to someone who does a good job.

A genius can not do a job at all. He will find a way to simplify his life and invent something high-tech. Just an intelligent person can only use knowledge, and a genius has talent and inspiration

Genius is more like geek or nerd. Clever is like jack off all trades. I'm smart but I'm not wise

Clever is a word that is used for people (mostly for animals such as dogs) who can think of alternative ways to wriggle out of a tough situation. If you put a barrier in front of a moving cockroach, it may not think of a way to get out but a more intelligent creature may find a way to circumvent the barrier. Clever has come to denote a person who is cunning but it is not right as clever is always used in a positive sense. While genius is a person with intellectual or creative power or other natural ability.

i'd say a genius is a person who makes the previously impossible possible. they can see solutions where others wouldn't even know where to begin. they can create things that would never otherwise be created.

Life is a game, you either play it or get played.
There's intellect, psychology, genius, superiority and then supremacy... All leading to how one chooses to use it. Which one is better you ask???

Look at the person using it or what they've done. Many build a little of it all just to end up with the most favorited. They all have similarities, but it's just a matter on how one grows their life.

Start looking at how one can improve themselves to enter new horizons without taking a wrong path. Most fail at perfection, but the one who succeed would always have gone through stages to get there.

the difference between clever and genius is, "Clever" suggests trickery or wit. Cleverness involves mental ability, but it's a low-wattage variety. Genius, on the other hand, is the real deal. Genius implies a truly unique or outstanding mental ability such as the power to solve seemingly insoluble problems.

Yes you are right. Smart people around a lot, and geniuses - units. Geniuses are born rarely, but are remembered for a long time

Everyone has the same potential to be clever and genius. It depends on how you choose to use your mental ability.

How do you become more intelligent? There is no spell for that, but here are a few tips:

  • Read: That's where learning starts. You acquire knowledge by reading books, articles, magazines, etc. Reading improves brain function and activity.
  • Practice: After you read and learn, you should put your knowledge to practical use. Trial and error is the path every genius in the world has to walk through.
  • Exercise: There is a link between physical fitness and well-being and mental health. People who exercise on a regular basis are usually more mentally alert and sharper than lazy folks. Cardio exercise increases blood flow to the brain.
  • Eat brain foods: A well-balanced diet helps your brain stay strong. Foods that are good for your brain include: Salmon and tuna (rich in Omega-3 fatty acids), green tea, citrus fruits, berries, spinach, nuts, seeds and whole grains.
  • Take smart supplements: There are many dietary supplements to support brain health. A lot of people call them nootropics, like this brain pill: http://www.mhrc.cc/brain-supplements/brain-pill.html -- such smart supplements don't make you smart, but they may improve mental health and focus. Many herbs have neuroprotective properties and can have noticeable effect on mood and mental clarity, i.e. they can help you think and remember.

Clever is the same as smart or intelligent, which anyone can become after hard work. But to be a genius you have to put your intelligence to practical use and create something unique and useful. So you have to be clever and creative to become a genius.

Clever is what a person with wit calls a person who he thought was not very smart to begin with.
Usually when a man thinks he is giving a compliment to someone for out doing themselves in something they have accomplished in doing that could of been achieved with ease.

There are many definitions of intelligence. It is also important what kind of intelligence we are talking about.
Some known intelligence types are: Verbal Intelligence, Digital Intelligence, Visual Intelligence, Bodily Intelligence, Rhythmic Intelligence, Natural Intelligence, Inner Intelligence, Social Intelligence

It is not possible to make a clear definition when there are many intelligence concepts. There is an area where every human being is talented. According to intelligence types, people's creativity may vary.

Real Eyes, Realize, Real Lies.
To me, someone who is clever only speaks out at the perfect time, a genius is just a very smart person.

I watched a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cJr226idrFg saying the less friends you have, the smarter you are. So if you're a loner you are either really smart, or just an asshole.

People often use word genius but it does not mean  that person actually a genius
People call me genius but i don't think so, just be good at something that most people can't do and they will call you genius.

Are genius people a little crazy? Individuals at the genius level are slightly different than standard people.
Character characteristics, interests, communication styles are much different than other people.

Can a person be both genius and normal social relations?
