They do have smoking areas and liquors are allowed in casinos. Maybe limited but I'm sure they allow drinking inside a casino and also they have club bouncers with huge biceps. But in today's era, cameras are everywhere. Somehow people feel safe when there are cameras in every corner.

Men don't go inside a casino just to drink though but women I think bring friends with them while they play slot.
Women are very social and they mingle with boys in the casino. They are not very social only to other girls sexier and more attractive than them.

When I saw your username, at first I was thinking it is bear but it was beerlover! Grin

I don't think Casino that are physical allow smoking and drinking, it's always in their rule not to play to disturb others, imagine if there is asthma patient come around to play and have fun only to be disturbed by the smoke and collapse, it is going to be a big blow on the casino because such people can die inhaling any inflammable or txic susbstance, this same goes to women because of the way society view them, they always comes first and will be protected at all cost.

In todays tech where everything can be done remotely, I think women will be at peace playing at the comfort of their home playing than coming out physically, it doesn't just save them from been profile as a gambler but security wise, it protect them danger. People may say that playing at home might not be fun but I prefer having my bet displayed on my screen instead of going out, I don't like going out to bet in the first place.

Totally agree on this. I don't think any gender specific matter affects the gambling engagement activities of the people. I think what's stopping women from doing gambling is our notion that they shouldn't be seen in any casinos. I think both men and women have the same reasons, it can be either for fun and entertainment or they wanted to generate income from it. Others, find gambling a social activity especially for those who works on offices and felt like they lack of any social interactions. They see it as an opportunity to meet new people as a form of releasing their stress from work. I have known lots of women and friends who engage gambling, for the reason that they wanted to build good relationship with the people around them. And most of them are into pokers and blackjack.

If I look at it from my personal perspective. I saw that they were women who decided to enter the world of gambling because they were motivated by loneliness and curiosity. Because even though gambling is not their (women's) style and as we know, gambling is dominated by men, but this also does not rule out the possibility for women to join in gambling.
When someone starts to feel lonely, quite a few of them decide to do something reckless or do something new that they have never done in their life, including gambling. Excluding the winning if money in gambling there's also entertainment and fun in gambling and it's not for man alone. Women are also seeking for means to catch fun and be entertained that's why some of them get into gambling.

Unlike men for most women that are gambling the money making part in gamble is secondary to them once the entertainment is sure to be attained

And this is why we scarcely have women addicts to gambling even though some may argue this point that the number of men in gambling is higher than that of women that's why men's addiction to gambling is prevalence.

You got a point, based on what I have said before many of the women in our place has a parent who gambles as well and sometimes their friend influences them. Without influencing them they will not play because they are afraid to be judge by other people but if there's someone who will influence them I am sure they will have the confidence to play without worrying with their image.

This happens and in some cases it used to be the winning of a person that drives them towards gambling. Here they never realise that gambling won't bring success to everyone. Just because a person next to us got lucky we shouldn't fall for it. We should learn and understand well about the consequences and then go for it. This is where most of the gamblers go wrong. Women won't get addicted, because they always try to stick to limits if things weren't favouring them.

There's two primary reason why people drive in doing gambling. It is applicable to majority of the gambler weather it's men, women or other gender classification. It is because of the money that the gambler earn and the entertainment that we get from doing gambling. There are small number of people who has their own personal reason but majority of us has the same reason. I believe in gender equality especially in the gambling industry, your gender doesn't tell you why you are doing gambling.

Of course, gambling is done for entertainment purposes but basically everyone's main purpose in gambling is to make money the easy way. For this reason, everyone regardless of the gender of the individual turns to gambling in this way.

If we talk about the reasons for gambling, the main reason is to make money easily as I mentioned. Other reasons can be listed as entertainment, relieving boredom, passing time and spending time with expensive adult games.

I would also like to point out that my own country is literally a gambling paradise. In many physical casinos I generally see women rate being half and in some cases more than a half of total gamblers. So, it is not uncommon for women to go to casinos or gamble.

I see many people assuming stuff about women, and I wonder on what basis those assumptions are made, and what kind of places people are from. For example, women being bored by being home all the time presupposes that women aren't employed (which is not representative of many countries) and ignores all the housework that women do and men often kind of forget exists and vastly underestimate.
According to research that I've found (although it's very limited), main reasons why women gamble are the desire to escape everyday life, financial reasons, socialization, and leisure.
Research on why people gamble (again, somewhat limited) says most responders say it's for financial reasons, but other major reasons include personal impact (relaxation, excitement), advertising that got them into gambling, and because it's a part of society.
Some have mentioned in the thread that perhaps the drives for gambling are not different based on gender, and I tend to agree.

The reason why someone drive into gambling is same regardless it's a men, women, trans, non binary, pansexual etc, it's for fun.

Loneliness, depression, boredom, stress etc, it's a sign if someone not happy, gambling is one of a way to make someone become happy. If someone can't get fun from gambling since they're looking for making money, they shouldn't gamble at all.
