Well I do think that the easiest way to help bitcoins grow is through holding them and advertising about them ' there are a lot of potential buyers out there who sre still stick onto traditional methods thud this could prove to be life changing for most of them.. believe it or not... 50% or more population haven't heard about bitcoins yet even the more educated population is yet to explore the world of digital cryptocurrencies.

Sometimes I ask shopkeepers and owners if they would accept it. Mostly blank stares and questions, so have good answers ready, and keep planting seeds.

i think the easiest way to grow bitcoin is to refer and share with other people that don't know much about it. if the large amount people use or invest in bitcoin the price of bitcoin will grow up gradually.

Your idea might help promoting bitcoin but I guess if you are the only one who will do that and nobody seconded it will just end useless and will just forgotten, the best way to promote bitcoin is through advertisement and through educating our friends and love ones. I guess this will leave impact rather than promoting it to someone you do not even know.
I think we can help grow bitcoin by sharing it to our friends and relative, just like I did, I share to them my success story in achieving financial freedom through bitcoin investment, I share to them my knowledge and help them build their bitcoin investment, now they are very happy with the results as they are now earning extra through BTC.

Ask someone about bitcoin is not bad I think. If the people you asked have no idea then they will be curious about what it is. Since your example is in the store, then can now have idea of accepting bitcoin as a method of payment.

Even if we explain about bitcoins the common people don't agree with the bitcoin and many people scared of bitcoin due to its volatility.So it is not to convince people to accept bitcoins.
The another problem with bitcoin payment is that extra cost of transaction fee so we can't pay bitcoins for small amounts if we have to we need to decrease the transaction fee then there is chance for increasing the bitcoin payments.
