Some team work behind and indirectly they try to manipulate crypto market. But I don't know who are them because they stay anonymous.
That's not a easy term to define them who are connected behind market manipulation. Crypto is decentralized that's why directly nobody can't manipulate it's market.
A group of engineer got hired for this type of work, and it is necessary for a new ICO to stand out from others in this competitive market. If you want to know the actual effect, it could be the distraction, to coming front of discussion, newbies got confused. It just becomes popular for 2-days and by the meantime, they might also get some investor.

Well, There are several ways to manipulate crypto currency. But currently, I am seeing the highest amount of manipulation take place from Pump And Dumps. It is some sort of mechanism where a group of people pumps a project or coin price so higher to get attention from investors but at the end of collecting money they just dump it.

Manipulation by the market is a game with the value of a coin. When you start buying too many coins, there is a deficit on coins. Price starts to rise sharply. And similarly happens when coins begin to sell.
market manipulation are just only resulting fail on it IMHO, the trust with this field will be decrease when market are still manipulated by some big investor. I feel like the last ATH level on this field are manipulated by some whales or something, like this or not the big whales investor that manipulate the market will take big part of this ecosystem.
The wealthy investors or whales in short sometimes uses bots to trade and drive prices of coins high and then dump them. This type of manipulation hurts most of the investors of the market. When I was new in the crypto market I lost a few dollars due to market manipulation. So I always avoid coins that suddenly skyrockets without any reason.

The people behind the manipulation are the people with the majority of coins, usually the shitcoin devs themselves.
Some are trying to have a buy back method, if devs will see people are dumping their token in below ico price then they'll buy and will suddenly pump in any way. This little way of the team is a good manipulation that just aim to maintain their position in the market.
Manipulation somehow benefited us even in little things and even we didn't see it in positive way.
The normally market was manipulated in every month but peoples are not listen carefully in market status. The current market is manipulated by government and whales because some countries are avoiding the Cryptocurrency Legalization so it is major impact of crypto value.
The whales with huge amount invested in the market are the manipulators of crypto market. I don’t know if there is any necessity for a coin manipulation and I’ve always perceived it as a bad thing because new investors or general people like us gets screwed over.
It's not a very good experience when the marketbis bring manipulated. Because those that record loss are always far more than those that gain.... And at the end of the day,the group that have invested big amount of money will gain and be happy while others loose their money due to manipulation in the market. People often do this due to their selfish deisres, the experience is always terrible when the market is manipulated.
In many cases it may be the large investor group who want to control the market by manipulation. Or these manipulator are those who open a project or token for money only.
