The last movie I saw was "The Batman." It was okay, but I liked "The Dark Knight trilogy" better.

I just caught Luca (2021) the animated movie on Disney Plus and I was mildly entertained.  I haven’t watched an animated movie in a while but it was a coming of age story taking place Italy and I was looking for something lighter so I checked it out.
It definitely was not what I expected, I’m not going to give any spoilers but it went more fantasy than I was expecting but all and all I still really enjoyed it.
The themes of growing up, leaving home and finding your passions are still relevant to me even though I’m probably a little old to watch Pixar movies.
the last movie i watched today was also animated. maybe I can make this luca the next film I will watch. any recommendations for animated films other than luca? ...

The last film I watched was so tearful, namely "Children of Heaven 1997". old movies when i was a kid. but I don't get tired of watching it. because there are many lessons to be learned from this film.

Oh yes. I go back to watching old movies because I've seen almost all the new good movies.

Don’t look up!

I watched it because a friend told me that it’s controversial. Great acting! Some parts were excellent, and some were cringy. 7/10.

I recently caught Liam Neeson’s ‘Blacklight’ and I enjoyed it. It delivers the goods if you have followed and enjoyed Neeson’s last decade of easy to watch action movies you would probably enjoy it.
It follows the trend of ‘Taken’ and the rest by putting Neeson against difficult odds to take down a strong adversaries.
As always with his grit, determination and special skill set he manages to give the bad guys a run for their money.
If you’re expecting innovative story lines or something different from the rest look elsewhere but if you you’re a fan of these kind of films it’s worth a watch.

I really enjoyed "The Batman" with Robert Pattinson and Zoe Kravitz. They had a lot of chemistry on screen and it was a slightly different take on Batman than I'd ever seen on film.
It also had a lot of good cameos from other really entertaining actors like Colin Farrell. I would say it was more of a crime mystery than a typical superhero action movie which I found refreshing.
I figured it would be hard to compete against Nolan's Batman trilogy but "The Batman" was definitely just as good in my opinion.
