I am actually just a newbie right now, but the forum has already tightened me up. I'm so interested that I come here several times a day to see new answers in those threads that I am interested in and to find out the news. Other sites do not provide as much useful information at the same time in one place. I really think that here I can learn to better understand cryptocurrencies and find interesting tips and ideas for alternative sources of income and ensuring financial independence for myself and my family. Therefore, I do not feel that there are reasons preventing me from visiting the forum more often. I think that for those people for whom there is such a reason, this is a lack of interest and not such a strong desire to master the crypto sphere.

For some reason I don't really care about how it looks, even though I'm often outside and don't use a computer, I still use my cellphone by zooming in with both fingers. Lol

I'm old school. For the most part, I still prefer to browse the web on a computer. It's because of that reason that I don't spend more time on this forum. I'm sure I would use it more if it were mobile-responsive.

Activities off the forum are still my main reason why I don't have much time to stay active for hours on this forum every day. Today I have managed to be active on this forum for 43 days 1 hour since March 3 2018, but this statistic is still much lower compared to other users.

There's no problem with the display at all, but it's a little bit problematic to access it via mobile, especially when I have to post content with code or other thing that require me to open 3-5 tab at once.

The only thing I don't like when browsing forum via mobile browser is inserting image via 3rd party image upload website like imgur. It will be convenient if we can attached image easily by just choosing on our storage device. Editing BBcode on mobile is very hard especially for fat finger like me. I usually tend to avoid posting image when I'm mobile browser. I'm a member on different fforum and only BTT is the one that has this feature when it comes to attaching image or files.

Maybe for some people it is quite odd because they are used to opening forums on a computer screen. If you've already merged, the look of this forum, isn't something that prevents me from giving 1 or 2 comments while I'm on break. That's what I do until now when I'm outdoors. Even if I'm chatting with friends, I definitely take the time to post comments. Instead, the chrome display on my phone screen is like opening a computer.  Grin

Actually, I think that I visit forum too often and I spend too much time here. It's one of the most visited my sites, both on PC and mobile. Yeah, no mbile version is disadvantage, but for me it's not big. Through 6 years when I'm here I already got used to zoom in text or type on little phone keyboard. Though, quoting on mobile, especially when I quote multiple posts or want to trim quote is still big headache for me.
One of reasons why I sometimes visit forum isn't that much is called real life stuff - work, family, other hobbies than Bitcoin and etc Smiley

We each have our own reasons why we don't often log into forum on our phone. I'm a user who likes to observe and post forum statistics whether it's about merit, number of post and so on so that the phone display sometime is not good enough when I access data from the provider's website. It's no big problem to post something via mobile when I want to respond to another user's post in a pinch when I'm not with the laptop. But I can say that 90% of my active time on this forum is through my laptop, but that doesn't mean the phone display is my main problem.

For me, it's the lack of mobile view. I like this place, more than any website I use (and I use a lot) but having to zoom in and out and move the screen with the text to read is just as painful as nails on chalkboard.
That's your perspective. Doesn’t mean that everyone else have the same feelings too. I have used the forum from both mobile and PC. I barely use this forum from PC these days though I used to use PC more back in the day. Now, I only log in from PC when I create a thread. Otherwise, I can read, write from mobile and feel comfortable enough.

Why you still here? no one force you to come in this forum.
Actually forum is something of determination and nobody is forced to come to the forum, the thing is that many people see forum differently, maybe when op build it's site it will add those things he notice as necessary to his knowledge.

Lack of community projects and a negative overall atmosphere would be my 2 main reasons. If it wasn’t for nostalgia and signature payments, I’m not sure we’d see the activity levels we do from anyone who has reached beyond a member account. The vaporware forum, vaporware anniversary giveaway, vaporware badges… The trend does not look promising… The question is, will it ever change or are we going to continue to spiral towards the drain…
I think there would be members here that would stay without signature campaigns because some veteran accounts do not participate in them but I do agree that this forum needs change. I do not think removing signature campaigns is the answer but I think there needs to be more regulation especially in the altcoin boards because they are full of spam. I think there is already a lack of community projects I have never been involved in a community project and I do not think I have seen one. I guess the charity fundraising some members do counts as community projects?

I'm very surprised that this website doesn't have mobile view. Its the only website I know that doesn't. Considering how big it is...it's crazy.
My mobile maybe too small to login into the forum but I don't really see that as a challenge , I try to be always active because I learn new things about in the forum every day

I like this forum a lot. I agree with the poster bitcointalk should have a mobile version which will make it easily accessible to ppl like me who don't have desktop or laptop.

I'd recommend combining the landscape view with a portable Bluetooth keyboard while using the "quick reply" feature!

Imagine using a BT keyboard while you're mobile

This your question is answerable individually because many people have different things that consumed their time except this platform, on like me it's very clear from me that the community of bitcointalk always take up my time because both morning and night I'm here, it's not that am posting (no) but i do devote time to go through the communication of the forum one after the other due to i love being around the forum, and i have noticed my system have acclimatized with community in which any minute I don't come here it affect me seriously.

The demands of work in rl are the most likely reason for not having a lot of time to interact with the many users on the forum. In the last few months I haven't been posting much with my phone because the internet has become unstable "not because of its small display" and I do it more often with my new laptop. Yes, I've only had a new laptop for a few months.  Wink

I usually read more responses to posts I make on my phone and will only reply after I turn on the laptop.

As LFC_bitcoin said, for 1 person we will have one opinion and for sure they have 1 ass hole. Lol  Grin

Opinions are like arse holes though, we all have one Cheesy

Because I cant find the threads I'm looking for. I learnt the basic of cryptocurrencies but cant go deeper as I cant find any guideline from here. There are resources here but I cant find them for my next step.
AFAIK, this is somewhat the best place you can get knowledge about any aspect of cryptocurrency, it's either you're not searching properly for the relevant threads that you need or you're just not active enough on the forum. Use the search option to easily locate the threads you're looking for, and I'm pretty sure you'll find them, and even if you don't, then create your own threads and ask questions about what you need.

I got occupied with my work and thus could not visit the forum that often. Now that I have created some passive sources of income, I again have free time to browse ans contribute to the forum. Hope the second innings will be brighter than the first one.

I've been less active for the last couple of months, but not because I got bored of bitcointalk of because something is bothering me, but because something much more simple; I got shit load of extra work and can't afford so much leisure which I spent here time (as I could before) . Hopefully that changes soon.
