What is the minimum amount to start as a trader?
I started with small amount of bitcoin until then i really grew my bitcoin in trading i started with 0.01 bitcoin i think till i grew up them by buying and selling another coins. Maybe you need to learn or read some good ico's in the Martket Place (Altcoin) To know which coins you are going to buy in the market or what alternative coins.

The capital in trading depends on how much profits you want to get, and for that you don't really need any minimum amount to start, you should just keep in mind that you can invest any amount according to your needs of profits but there is no any recommended minimum amount to start trading with.

But if a newbie wants to start trading and he doesn't have enough budget for starting with it. I guess, 0.005-.01 BTC is going to be enough for buying some good alt coins that can give you profit in the long run. And it is also a good dry-run so whenever you fail with your first start then that is just fine for it is affordable to lose.
You should definitely be dry-running and gaining more experience before you consider a lot of trading, in any form. If you try to make money without having a decent amount of experience first, then there is a serious likelihood that you're just going to end up losing all if not a majority of your money doing whatever. Always go in with smaller amounts and work your way up from there.

Exactly, because the more experience you are going to get as you trade then you are going to be more confident in the long run as a trader. But there are some new entrants in trading that are confident immediately thinking that they are going to get profit as they invest and start big amount with it, but always remember ladders are not starting at the top, but in the low.

You have it in reverse. What you should be asking yourself is "What is the maximum amount to start that I am willing to lose in trading?"

With that question in mind, once you lose all your starting amount you should quit trading for good and never look back. It is clear that by asking that question that you are still a newbie in trading. Trading is almost like gambling because you are never too sure if the decisions that you made will be profitable. A good example is the recent sell down in BTC. That might have caused some panic to inexperienced traders making them sell at a loss.

Isn't it obvious that the time OP starts that question, he was a newcomer in the world of trading.  That is the reason why he asked question here so he can prepare capital for it.

And I think the minimum depends on the exchanges on how they implement the minimum amount of BTC to be traded.  If you just want to try it out and not comfortable in losing a big amount of money, you can try the minimum amount implemented on what ever trading platform you are trading with.  Just for example, Yobit can enable you to put a buy wall at around 10k satoshi,, so that is the minimum to make a one way.  But the decision on how much you are willing to spend in order experience and learn the art of trading is up to you.

0.01 bitcoin is already a very huge amount in my opinion and it is more than enough to start trading.

i have started with a much smaller amount like 1/100 that amount even. and i have been happy about it because it is all about managing the risks about your money and when you go in small you can manage it so much easier than when you go in big and lose all.
I doubt its a big ammount, 7 dollars, anyway the thing is no one new should try trading with big ammounts, because they dont know the market, and crypto world does change a lot all days, sometimes all red sometimes some green the thing is research about the coin and make your investment.

I'd say that if you want to start trading and actually try to move the markets a little bit then you're looking at at least twenty bitcoins right here. And that's only for small to medium markets like Number 50-100 in terms of market cap of the coin.

That is a good rough estimate capital if you are serious enough. That is already on the Whales league level but sadly, most of the active trader as far as i know is conservative. Some are pooling their capital and form a group to manipulate or simple make a movement in prices.
yeah so better to ride with them or being played by them, its really depend on how risky are you able to handle whether its big or small we must learn from it and just continue learning.

It will depend on what amount you have, even .01 is enough to trade but the more you trade the more it profits so much better if you have a higher amount to trade and you have to learn a lot to make more profit from experienced people in trading ask them some advises on how you will do it.
Its not  advisable   to  jump  in  large  capital  when you are  just starting  up into trading because   you would  surely  lose  it  fast    because  of lack  knowledge and dont tend  to  depend   on   skilled  and   experienced  trader but its still  good  to seek advice  but  not fully  dependent on them  because   making  money  on trading   isnt easy  but  if  you got the  proper  techniques and  experience  you would  surely attain  it but it would  takes time. Better to  start  up on small amounts when  you are just  starting. 0.01 would be enough though.

You can start as low as you want, but there wont be too much option if you start with too low, the lowest amount i suggest is around 0.01, so you can have a bit option in trading alt coin, but with that amount you won't earn too much
Yes, I also think that it can be started from 0.01 BTC. Well, most people who just know trading is very difficult to determine the initial capital they need, and they are also hesitant to start. So, the advice that I can give, perhaps you could start from the lowest nominal BTC.

You need to study first the world of trading in bitcoins and you can also ask advice from someone who do understand trading. No matter how much capital you invest in BTC for as long as you have good knowledge and prediction in the movements then it's guaranteed that you will earn / make a better profit from it.

You can trade with very small amounts. The problem is that you can't make much profit until you have larger amounts like 1 bitcoin or more. Just start with whatever you have and you will see a gradual increase.
