yes, we got Ethereum, litecoin, ripple and many more that very popular and most used until now but don't ever forget about doge, back then in 2014 when bitcoin starting to got attention from people, beside it we have DOGE, even though i know it's popular because following the famous meme, DOGE is very memorable cause has a very friendly name that easy to remember, and may be every crypto user know about this coin but about the development i never hear the dev is still work for it or not

Guys, what do you think about NEM? It's with high market cap, but I really do not hear too much from people talking about it.

The most popular right now is Ethereum, just look at the marketcap on coinmarketcap 
For me the most popular altcoin is ETH or Ethereum followed by NEM WAVES and LITECOIN because Ethereum is great and for a long term and it also provide cryptocurrency token called ether
For me, the most popular altcoins till today are litecoin and ethereum. Those two coins are already exist at most exchangers and a lot of gambling sites add them as alternatives payment beside bitcoin.
I think alt coin is very famous now is eth, because almost all projects ico use eth as a means of payment currency

The most popular altcoins is ethereum, follow by ripple, nem, lisk, zcash etc. Ethereum is the most popular because of the tokenization of it ether. Like litecoin has lost it straight in the face of strong opposition, ethereum will also lost those strength one day especially when we find out that token coins are being hack daily because of the vulnerability of ether network.

Well, all of that are the popular altcoin in the trading and in online market. In addition to that, some of them are very useful and the price was very nice. Holding of any altcoin is an opportunity to gain a lot of income and I believe that the price of all altcoin will rapidly increase in the near future and many people also believe to that. Marketcap?

Ltc is still in great demand, its prices are down but not so bad.
I agree with you ETH is a popular coin number 2 after BTC. All ICOs currently use ETH coins, if you look at marketcap now eth is at the bottom position. It's time to buy as much as you can afford. 2018 I'm sure ETH will be a big competitor BTC.
Followed by Waves and who knows Waves become the next ETH to use their smart contract like some project using it right now. ETH is cheap right now and buy it may be a good decision since stay on stable rate this time.
