My biggest regret was playing with margin trading without having much knowledge.
I strike out a few times! Not that much loss because I was starting with crypto, but I lost some position in tokens/coins that capitalized big!

I did not know enough about margin trading nor even about the coins/tokens that I was playing with.
Even now that I have much more knowledge, I will not get in margin trading again!

I think that this is win big/lose big, but when you win you want more, and when you lose you strike out!
Even if you have your own rules and mentality to know when to stop losses it is very risky!

My biggest regret is not buying yfi when I saw it at $32 and then it rose to $17000, before finally stopped at $14000. Even if it was said to initially Bea scam. It later turned out real and many who invested are In huge profit and the project is still doing well..  Kudos to the team. I missed the shot and kinda regret it. Hahaha! Anyway. I was only being careful of my funds. Especially with the rate alot of scammy defi springs up.

I used to lose more than $ 10k in just 1 month because not selling the altcoins I bought in 2018. I thought the price was cheap enough so I decided to hold on to them, but the price kept crashing and causing let me panic. It was a really bad experience investing in this market

Before, I also constantly regretted my hasty actions and got upset when I sold some coin, and the next day it increased in value two or three times. But now I have understood a lot, about the structure of the market as well. Therefore, I try not to fall into despair of my actions.

Many people regret that they did not buy BTC while they first knew about it. For some, they did not sell BTC while they could. Roll Eyes

For me, I got MWC & HEX for free from airdrop to BTC HODLers, but dumped them before they peak. I could easily make 10x of my existing BTC, if I held them strong. Cry

What is your Biggest Crypto Regret?

One of my biggest regret was cashing out most of my bitcoins when its price were around $4,000-$5,000 and after 1 month, its price skyrocketed to almost $20,000. Another crypto-regret was investing into an infamous 'ponzi scheme' called USI-TECH as it really looked genuine. I remembered I even attended their conferences in my country and people there were discussing about their investments. It persuaded me to drop $150 on their website (the amount was significantly large for me as a working student in a third-world country) as it promised a return of 150% by 6 months.

Unfortunately after 2 months of waiting, the website abruptly changed its user interface and withdrawing all of your funds was seemingly impossible. News resurfaced and exploded about the project which scammed thousands of users including me.

Probably the most recent time Chainlink's price fell to $ 2.1 but I didn't buy it. At that time I just woke up and did not understand what was happening to the market, I was afraid and did not dare to take risks. Up to now, its price has been x7 times and the highest is x9 times. I was just a new trader so I was lacking, I did not dare to buy it with a volatile mentality. That was probably the great opportunity I missed.

I had the same experience with some altcoins on the market which rose to unprecedented levels in such a short amount of time. As far as I know, Chainlink is overhyped. It's expected to see a price correction on the market in the long term. The hype is largely attributed to the ever-rising popularity of "De-Fi" and stablecoins during the COVID-19 pandemic. I think that once the world's economy goes back to normal, prices for LINK and other top cryptocurrencies will decline. This could bring you another opportunity to profit by buying low and selling high in the next bull market. As well as you did, I regret not having invested earlier in LINK. I also regret not having invested earlier in BNB to double or triple my money a few years later. But now that I know how crypto works, I don't make the same mistake again.

With previous experiences, one gets to learn about bad decisions made on crypto land. For what I know, all of us have something to regret in the crypto/Blockchain space. It's important to learn from your mistakes in order to become an expert in this emerging industry. By guiding newcomers to the right path, many undesired situations can be avoided. Just my thoughts Grin

In 2017 I got a lot of coins like stellar and ethereum, but I didn't think to keep them, so I sold them when they were cheap, it was the stupidest thing I ever did
The second stupidest thing I did was waste my bitcoins on a gambling site.

My regrets in the space is far back in 2017, where I was busy investing in scam ICO's and ponzi schemes which rendered my savings empty. I may have made much profits from the bull run of 2017, but I had only a couple of cryptocurrency with value and since I was still very new to the industry. I barely made any profit from the bull run.
So true, and very painful too. I was caught up in that too and as a noob you would think that price would surge continually without correction. I can also recollect how some veterans here screamed for people to sell off at the time because there was every possibility of a dump. Most of us didn't listen, and we paid the price for that. I guess we are now wiser.

My biggest regret was buying for 1 BTC some coins of Hashprofit.

Well all my investments at Hashprofit was one big regret.  Angry
I couldn't even find any information about this project. How do you know and invest in that project? And that's really a lot of money to invest in a shitcoin like that. I personally invested in many altcoins in 2017 but most of them are dead and the price has dropped hundreds of times.

My biggest crypto regret is for not selling all my coins like most smart people did back in 2018. In my mind I was thinking there will be no end to this crypto hype. But little did I know.

Do we have to linger in regret?
sometimes what we plan to do is not in accordance with reality, what we sell actually soars and what we hold down actually drops.
I honestly don't want to remember the past because it hurts so much dude.
LOL exactly, you just never know whats gonna happen in the future and regretting it will just waste your energy. I mean its just something that we have no control and no matter how hard we work if we got bad luck then we gonna be the losing side. Not to mention that it could be psychologically bad for our mental health and many negative effects.

Maybe I won't call it a regret, but rather it is a risk that I have to accept in trading and participating in bounties, in trading, I am too eager to get big profits, so I hold coins for too long and hoped to experience an increase in price, but now In fact, many of these coins have no price, and just become trash in my wallet and the second thing that I regret is that I have been trapped several times in several bounty scams, so that, it has only wasted my time, but now regret / at least this risk has given me an experience to be even better in the future.
Regret is the risk of every mistake we have ever done, and that is the consequence we have to accept. Every mistake always teaches us to be more careful when making decisions in the future, mistakes are the most valuable experiences to achieve success in the future. Keep trying because success always begins with the mistakes we have done in the past.

Regret occurs when we make mistakes or are too hasty in making decisions. Mistakes in making decisions can happen to anyone, but learning from mistakes is the beginning of the process to success.
Investing in cryptocurrency is not as easy as we imagine, there are many things that must be considered to avoid the risk of loss. Make mistakes as the most valuable lessons, so you don't regret it in the future.
Sure you're right. If you've made a decision that turned out to be a bad one - you can track your mistake and learn from it.
If you're doing fomo decisions that is not going to be good for you in long term even if you get profit now

Good for you treating this as your learning experienced will definitely bring more knowledge from
picking the next move that you'll going to do.

There's nothing that you can bring back everything that happened from the past will serves as a
good basis from how will you build your future. I have similar mistakes regarding  with investing
into ICO's, holding  and believing that it will bring fortune only to realized that only devs will gain
and runaway.

I have had a lot of regrets in cryptocurrency, selling bounty reward and not buying bitcoin when the price fell, especially during March and then bitcoin dropped to 4k usd due to the pandemic, if I had bought and sold now I would have made double the profit.

We all have our regrets when it comes to taking advantage of an opportunity or loosing out in this space. My greatest regret in this space was selling out too early in an airdrop whose value rose much more higher. I participated in an airdrop whose project name is Hydro, after selling out my tokens for less than 50$, the value of the tokens rose to above 4,000$, in less than a month. I felt really bad because I could have waited, just a little.
