My biggest regret is when ICO lending (like bitconnect or hextra) was hype, and I was careless with investing my profits at the time. And I didn't sell some of the shitcoins I got from the bounty campaign, and now almost all the projects are dead and the tokens are worthless Cry.

ICOs were extremely hyped back in the day ETH was just starting to blossom. As well as you did, I've lost the opportunity to sell some tokens earned from bounty campaigns when they were still traded on the market. If had sold all of my bounty earnings, I would've made a lot of money by now. Instead, I've decided to wait until prices became much higher on the market. It was a mistake by my end, as now I'm holding a bunch of worthless tokens that have been abandoned by their developers. It's up to this date, where I regret my actions taken within ICO's early days. At least, you get to learn from your mistakes.

I'd suggest that you quickly get in and out of new crypto projects to take advantage of them whenever it's still possible. If you plan on waiting for prices to become higher on the market, you might never get the chance to profit big time. I usually keep an eye on crypto projects to invest within their early days. Right after prices start rising, I quickly sell all of my holdings for profit. Repeat this cycle and you'll be successful in this wild journey of crypto. Remember, always do own your research and never make your decisions based on other's opinion to minimize losses as much as possible. Just my opinion Smiley

My regret is that when the Minexcoin project was still very popular, I got some MNX coins, and the price was very good but unfortunately, I didn't sell it, maybe only 20% of what I had. And after a long time, the value of MNX has fallen and fallen, if at that time I sold everything maybe I could get more BTC.

Many people regret that they did not buy BTC while they first knew about it. For some, they did not sell BTC while they could. Roll Eyes

For me, I got MWC & HEX for free from airdrop to BTC HODLers, but dumped them before they peak. I could easily make 10x of my existing BTC, if I held them strong. Cry

What is your Biggest Crypto Regret?
Most of them are coming from airdrops one of them is Ebtc I did not expect it to reach $1 but I only sold it at 20 cents that wa2 years ago I do not have confidence in airdrops but back then, it's part of investing and being a holder you have to keep up and dig deep for every coins that you are following.

My biggest regret in the crypto world is not buying Bitcoin at the beginning of an open trade, imagine if I bought Bitcoin in 2011/2012
in large numbers and I hold until now. For sure I am a millionaire already, that's my biggest crypto regret. Then the newest my regret
is that I didn't buy Ethereum when the price was under $ 200.
Even do you buy a bitcoin on that year 2012 you can sell it early for doing trade or for important matter.
But if you have many kind of coins you have on that year maybe after coming a year of 2017 you are will be the one of rich people in here.
I know some of us regret about not holding bitcoin but its happening now so past is past must focus for now in a future.

My biggest regret in crypto - it's probably just missing, since I try to look at life from a positive side, I perceive failures as a life experience. And I can say that I still remember all my investments in "bad" coins, and at the moment I do not make such investments anymore.

My regrets are many. failing to convert my 1500usd account back in 2018 to usdt and watch my account plummet to 400usd. missing out on lots of Airdrops like HEX, ethereum, ONT, atomic wallet. My last regret is buying elrond token at 0.026 hoping to sell at 0.03. i FOMO and it was regretting to be honest.

I also feel disappointed when looking back on 2017, I held a lot of different altcoins and made a lot of money from bounty. At that time I had over $ 50k from my portfolio, but in the end I didn't sell them. And by 2018 those altcoins fell apart and I had only $ 3,000 left

My biggest regret in crypto is not selling my crypto in 2017. That time i had some good numbers of BTC, ETH and other Altcoin. I hold all of them as all are mooning. But after that period all dumped hard and some others are dead and valueless now.
All of people were having the same regret and they were not selling their coins at the peak price to buy back again at the bottom price. I have been loosing a lot of money too but my big regret to not invest in the major coins when it was still on the ico phase.

This is so easy, the biggest regret and regrets are not selling my bounty in the good old days. I holded it and lost it all, many times i have thousands in bounty payments but was thinking that it will go only up. Most times it ended with clode to zero in those assets.
everyone has very different experiences. indeed, many projects that we hold in our portfolios become a scam after a while, but if you have a lot of coins, then 1-2 coins that will grow very strongly can bring you 1000 percent profit and replace your losses in other coins

Going through this thread, I've read so many lamentations/regrets and some are similar to my experience. For instance, I regret selling my ETH super cheap in the good old days, even when I bought back this year during the March crash at 115$, I sold back around 140$ which is not even close to the current price. I've learnt never to regret when i sell in small profit and the coins price increases later on, I only regret not selling when I'm supposed to sell to take profit, then later on the coin dips hard making me a shitcoin bagholder.
Yes, I also like you. Never regret having made a profit from it, I only regret the altcoins I didn't sell when it have a profit. And after the bull run ended, those altcoins collapsed hundreds of times and now they are dead, losing a lot of money with those altcoins.

Because of your greed, I think at that time you believe the market will continue to go up and you will have more profits if you keep holding. A lot of people like that and lost a lot in 2017

I regret that I bought 10 bitcoins invested in a multi-level project. I have made a profit but I still regret what I did.
I have been in the crypto market for 4 years but the bed as opportunities are not for me. When I heard about bitcoin, ethereum, XRP, and DASH. Their value is very low, ETH, DASH around 8 $ and XRP is only close to 500sts. If I kept 10 bitcoins now, maybe my life would have changed a lot. I was able to buy a house for myself and have a better life.

This isn't really a big crypto regret since at that time, I'm still a newbie in cryptocurrencies but that is the only thing that I've regretted in my whole crypto journey.

My biggest regret that is related to crypto is that I didn't bought any Bitcoin last 2018 and last March of 2020. If only I have some spare cash at those moments then I'm enjoying a huge profit right now but unfortunately I didn't have any cash at that times. Although I'm earning Bitcoin still, the feeling is different when you bought Bitcoins at the lowest price possible.

My biggest regret is gambling away my 1000$ bitcoin, this was before the bullrun which means i missed the chance to sell it at peak, but it taught me not to gambling again. Another regret is not selling all of my bounty coins after i received it, this was the time there was still ICO hype.

Im one of those people who made a really expensive loss. It was a long time ago, a few months before bitcoin reached its highest. I got my friend in on bitcoin and that time when it went down, my friend was really vocal about his frustration about the loss. I got carried away and sold all my coins for cheap, then after just 2 months bitcoin reached its highest. I wouldve been rich for life if i hadnt sold it. Still one of my biggest regret. That was hard to let go.

That I bought so many altcoins in a time when Bitcoin was on its bottom. Now I need 4 times more funds to buy same amount of Bitcoins.  Cry While my bought altcoins are on the same price levels on what I bought them.  Cheesy
