This also just came to me recently in a discussion - The fact that an individual themselves can be their own obstacle in case they overshoot their goals, especially having in mind what they are capable of becoming or doing.

This is probably the biggest obstacle, being realistic about these things.

Financial freedom is something we gain after a long path of catching opportunities, whether they're working or investment opportunities. For me, what holds me back from some opportunities is the available time, since we have less time and more work to do at this age, especially for men who have families to feed and children to grow. Actually, learning new skills and working for more hours would help a lot now as opportunities are everywhere, but as I mentioned, our time is limited and consumed by real life necessary things.

It's your own definition but just the same time is what we needed especially if you already have your family that you needed to feed, the chance of adding knowledge or enhancing your capabilities are not the same with people who are still young and no obligation to raise a family, but all of it is about taking the risk and aiming for the best.

It's tough but always has the right way to work on. Just find time and maximize every resource that you have to attain success.

I stand with Ukraine.
~ What matters is that the world after many hundred years of moral evolution has become a place where "a fair competition situation" is the reality. I have to admit, it's not like that everywhere. But there are enough such places, you just have to find them.

I‘ve never said or implied that being sympathetic and helpful is equivalent to being a loser. Actually, I am the type of the person who is always sympathetic and helpful but this does not help in the real business world. You can't even protect yourself when bullied by whoever in the workplace not playing by the rules while you still stick to the rules. The fair competition situation never exists unless you are strong enough. "I have to admit, it's not like that everywhere. But there are enough such places, you just have to find them.", this is really misleading sometimes because each of us is living a a real world, not a video game that we can choose from. Why do we have to look for a fair environment? Or is this in our control that we can find one ? I really doubt that. The best way to deal with any unfairness is to be strong enough, fight agains it and never give up. When the day victory comes, we can probably create a competition situation that intends to be fair and justce. It will never work if you just stand as a sympathetic man who is incompetant to cope with all unfairness around. I would never be that man.

I didn't mean you should necessarily follow my advice. I thought you asked how to achieve your financial freedom, and I tried to help based on my own experience. It's not "misleading", it's just not the way you prefer to deal with things. In my opinion, if you can't achieve financial freedom at where you are, maybe you should chance the environment instead of trying to change people around you? Most of all I wish you success on your own way. I just think it's a hard way, and so I try to suggest an easier one.

Absolutey true. I feel the same. As we grow older, time is the most precious resource that is draining out day by day.  Work has consumed most of my day and I have to take care of my wife and child, which is extremely tiring. I have not had a sound sleep for so long and dream for it every day. I guess this is a typical life of a middle aged man.

in various countries there may be similarities and there are also differences in terms of employment. I have even heard several opinions directly, if in other countries workers are only needed for skills in work, but in our country workers must complete various administrations, starting from a diploma to a statement of work experience. This is an obstacle for workers in finding work. I think this is what causes many unemployment in our country. so that the economy is hampered.
Last year after I was tired of the financial problems I decided I will try to save up some money and will not go through the same problem of financial instability
This year - I am a bit satisfied that I have achieved some of my goals this year. And I am happy I did it. It's never too late.

what you did was very good, at least with what you did the previous year you can enjoy it now. but it's much better if you invest in some crypto and it allows you to enjoy it for the next few years if there is any movement in the market

if that is the question then I think almost everyone gave the same answer. because the obstacles faced today are almost all the same in various countries. With deteriorating economic conditions, the main obstacle is the main capital. besides that, if you speak in my country, job opportunities are getting squeezed and there are more and more unemployed, including me.
As for the poor economic conditions in several countries, I think there are indeed some similarities at this point. But when it comes to employment problems and the unemployment rate in many countries, I think these two things are not always the same for every country because some of the unemployed do not have a place to work. But some of them are lazy people who don't want to work hard to make money so they are always unemployed for a long time.

And maybe in your country it is a little different where the unemployed don't know where to work even though the average unemployed already has special skills that can be used by other people or by small businesses in your environment. So globally, unemployment and narrow employment opportunities are not always the same for every country, even though the level of economic hardship looks almost the same in every non-developed country.

Creating financial freedom requires a large income from our many investment places. So, we need a lot of investment, whether it's real or digital. To make a lot of money on an investment, we also need big money. Currently, my job does not have a big enough salary for that, so the biggest obstacle to achieving the financial freedom that I am currently targeting is money. I think those are the barriers that many people have today to achieving financial freedom. So far, I have met several people in my city who also have business ideas to achieve financial freedom. However, the obstacle to many such ideas is money. They work for it, but their salary is not able to meet it quickly.

In my opinion, the biggest challenge and obstacle that I experienced in achieving financial freedom was the small monthly income, when the income was still small and only enough to cover the necessities of life, it will be difficult to save or invest, it seems like this is too much but what I have felt since I worked until now is like that, but I'm happy because I can buy a house even with a long-term installment system.

There is nothing wrong to treat your work/family seriously but remember you have to draw a bottom line. If anybody tries to take advantage of you in whatever reason,  please cut them off immediately. If not, an endless horrible life is what you'll get. I believed in good heart and being kind to all the people around me but this ideal does not work in real life. We have to know when to be an asshole in order to survive. Winners always take it all and losers get nothing.

Not letting to use you is one thing, but being an asshole is entirely another. We, humans, have been building a world where assholes have small chances to survive, and sympathetic and helpful people have bigger ones. The times of those "winners" that "take it all" have passed, but, as we can see, many people haven't noticed that.

Again, don't let leeches to use you and keep you apart from your financial freedom, but know this: being an asshole is bad for your survival at the present times.

I guess you misunderstood my point. Being an asshole, wether it's in its real meaning or just an metaphor, is used against those people who are scumbags that don't play by the rules. You'll never win when dealing with those people if you still play decently. I am talking about the real world surviving, not at a fair competition situation. The "sympathetic and helpful people" are only rewarded when the enviroment is fair and sound. Otherwise they are more likely to be used or exploited.

I don't think that being sympathetic and helpful is equivalent to being a loser. There is such a risk, no doubt about that, but it is not certain that you will be used or exploited if you try to play by the rules, while others around you don't. If you are strong, you will not be engaged in their games, and you will finally find the right folks to hang out with. The cheaters will be left behind, and they will lose in the end, but it doesn't really matter, we shouldn't care about them much anyway. What matters is that the world after many hundred years of moral evolution has become a place where "a fair competition situation" is the reality. I have to admit, it's not like that everywhere. My biggest obstacle to getting to financial freedom is capital and experience. I once tried to open a small restaurant but had to close it because it was quiet, especially when the pandemic was scary. It turns out that to be successful and financially free, you need a lot of things and in my opinion, the experience factor is the main key.
The wrong decision making not carrying much for the money - and some selfish people around me who kept fooling me     and trying to steal as much money as they could.
I repent so much  for all the wrong financial decision  I made in my life.

There are still many obstacles that I still have to face. One of them is I'm building a marketplace website with the purpose is selling for myself and providing marketplaces from other people in the hope of getting fees from their transactions. If that has been achieved, I already consider my goal financially has been achieved and maybe that's what I would call financial freedom. But this hurdle is not easy, competing with established and well-known marketplaces, but I still believe I can do well.

Regardless where we live, money is our top priority in order to survive and thrive. Having enough money to fall back on means we are entitled to more choice and possibilities. Like it or not, we are chasing or being forced to chase money in most phases of our life. Financial freedom has been most people's ultimate goal for decades, if not for centuries. To achieve this goal, we will encounter endless challenges. Each of us has a unique life situation so what is your biggest obstacle to achieving it ? I know we can make a long list of problems but there must be one or two primary reasons that really hold you back. This is where we should focus and I would like to hear your story. Thanks.

but behind all that, by knowing this forum and understanding my investment, I try to cover up the shortfall so far by controlling some of the crypto that I have, both trading results and what I earn on the Bitcointalk forum

.... in life sometimes we have to think realistically that happiness is not always measured by money.

Well, I have the opposite thought. Many people still think that money cannot buy happiness and money is not everything, but without money, I bet you, you will never be happy, without money, you will be nothing. Our world today is a pragmatic world, full of intrigue in it. If you don't make money, no girl will choose you, no one in your family respects you, no friends want to play with poorer people than them. We need to accept reality and face it.

I think both of you are correct and your points of view are just like the two sides of a coin. We have to recognize the importance of money first. In any society now all over the world, money is the fundamental cornerstone of everything. If you don't have or make enough money, no one, including your closest family, respects you in any way. We'd better take this with no hard feelings because that's how reality works. Therefore, I don't disregard those people who put money first and sometimes act ruthlessly, here I am taking about all lawful conduct, not illegal activities. On the other hand, it is not wise either if you think money solves all problems and guarantees happiness. There are more meaningful things like healthy relationships, spiritual pursuit for your dreams that can bring you happiness, although they somehow are built on the foundation of money. It's a superior level that requires a lot of effort, attention and consistency. I guess most people, most rich people to be precisely, are not that happy essentially because they've never taken this question seriously and only see the world as is made of money alone.

I'll keep it simple - saying yes to new things (going out of your comfort zone), and making good decisions sprinkled with a bit of luck (right timing, right place).
The comfort zone that you mean is probably a comfort zone in neglecting yourself so that more time is wasted on things that are not useful. It's not wrong if you want to try to get out of that zone and be in a more appropriate place while expecting luck to come.

Everyone's dream is to quickly get out of economic difficulties into the comfort zone, many people are busy making money until old age and when they are successful then the things they like, for example food, hobbies, travel and others cannot be done because of a weak old physique, and in life sometimes we have to think realistically that happiness is not always measured by money.
Everyone has this hope, because no one wants to be in constant economic trouble in their life. And when economic difficulties can be overcome or lost in his life, it is clear that all life zones will feel comfortable for everyone because they can do anything without obstacles. For example, as you mentioned, and in expecting happiness, of course, there must also be money in it, even though not everything is measured in money.
