There are a lot of genre nowadays, but I do prefer the horror or gore ones since I do not have the guts to actually watch it so I just read it via manga. My favorite one is Dead Tube, though it is still on-going. When I get actually scared I read romance ones and my favorite in that category would be Black Bird.
My favorite manga is One Piece. One Piece is indeed one of the most successful manga series in history. But it is undeniable that his great world and pleasant character make this series survive after all this time, and is currently the best-selling manga in Japan.
I like so much "Naruto" manga.

one piece - 2014 since i watch this on tv i was young that time, i starter to read manga at 2010.luffy's and the entire crew's adventure is great for finding the will of D, while their friendship growing deeper...
hunter x hunter - fight scene are good all do the fight are short not like the other anime, but the fights not just about the using of nen, tactics, intelligence skill on every fight
One piece, it shows that you can be whatever you want even if your parents or somebody wants you to be like that. Luffy still become a pirate even if his grandfather wanted him to be a marine.
