I usually bet in sports because I like sports very much. mostly in cricket and tennis games.

I see a lot of people loving roulette, but I don't quite understand why it is the case. Isn't it just like ordinary dice but with 2.7% house edge and an animation of a wheel?
They don't know what the concept of house edge is, and don't know math at all, just naively think black and red is 50% to roll. Gamble gurus won't play roulette nowadays, it could be cheated some decades ago, I read some article says Russian KGB agents wear micro cameras and signal sender to cheat in casinos, they capture the video of roulette initial rolling and send the video to KGB analysts, they profited from this kind of cheating millions of USD per year, but can't be cheated nowadays IMO
I think it is not 100% because they do not know math and house edge, but its all about preferences. They have their own reasons why they prefer to play roulette, dice, poker, slots etc.

I am an addicted soccer gambler, because I like it. Make betting on that match will make it be more interested for us to watch it. Beside that, I like card games like poker and blackjack instead of dice.
