FTX has been one of the exchanges in which I want to open an account over the years. Maybe because I am busy and I already have many accounts in different exchanges, I always forgot and bypass them. Now I am lucky not to create an account there or I would've lost some money.

What happened with FTX is another reminder that we need to keep up hard-earned coins on non-custodial wallets. Although for the traders, they have to be extra careful in picking the exchange they want to trade. We can also trade on different DEXs although they aren't that great, especially on fees but obviously safer than centralized exchanges.

Due to FTX, exchanges are now trying to become more open and transparent with their funds. And authorities will soon be requiring more regulatory rules in order to avoid the same fate wherein clients' deposits were being used and mismanaged.

"Bragging" your losses in public doesn't seem like a good idea to me. However, I believe that both, people who lost money and those who fortunately avoided it, should take a valuable lesson from this situation - remember to keep as little funds as possible on the exchanges, always DYOR and track your investments to react in time of dangerous news. Of course, some situations cannot be avoided, but you must try to do everything to minimize the risk of losses.
although a little I'm sure it's not necessary. why keep it on the exchange? we know the risks.
unless you are aware, if you put an asset on the exchange, it means you are ready to lose if something happens to the exchange. the assets you have on the exchange are out of control. don't play with fire. even though it is small it can burn you when you are negligent.
after the events that happened to FTX, I believe more and more traders and investors will wake up to this understanding. they used to underestimate the security of reputable exchanges. but now, everyone will be more vigilant.

Due to huge crypto exchange FTX brankcupcy . what is your lost amount?

my one is 120$ and i got the a new message that "Not your keys , Not your crypto"
After FTX bankruptcy, it feels like the exchanges have to be transparent with their hot and cold wallet amount. I got an e-mail from KuCoin revealing their value in the wallet(although it's not all) but it gives me an insight at least about how is that exchange going to manage the currency in the future. But still, it's not recommended to store money in online wallet even though it's just a small amount, you are not controlling your own money if you put it there.

Your loss is only $120, so don't ask about other people's losses. You are very lucky. Many people can't find a place to cry when they want to cry. If you are not a newcomer and have experienced bulls and bears in the cryptocurrency market, your mentality will become normal in this matter. No matter what happens, it is normal. Because digital currency is still a child, there are no rules of the game, and everything starts from the heart. If SBF does not do evil, if there is orderly and fair competition in this market, everything may be better. But without contradictions, there is no driving force for the development of things.

The sudden collapse of FTX nearly knocked investors throw down from the sky. I am also a victim of this. My assets were in other exchanges so I didn't face any problem in withdrawing them. However, I sold my tokens after my asset value dropped by about 70 percent. Mos of us have been affected by this collapse.

I did not lose anything from the FTX bankruptcy because I don't have an account there. I am sorry that many people have lost a lot of money, especially those who invested in FTT tokens. Although I'm not sure that FTX will replace all user assets, we better stay optimistic that all the problems that happened at FTX can be solved soon and people can get their money back. I am curious to know how long this case will be finished because, with such a large amount of money plus FTX, who is already in bankruptcy, this will be one of the biggest cases this year.

$0 because I only used the exchange on a few occasions and I don't leave any balance on the exchange, but I have some close friends who lost huge amounts in the FTX exchange hack and most of them are traders who leave their capital on the exchange.
I don't want to believe that FTX customers have lost their money already because a big exchange like FTX will have a reserve where their settle client's in time such as this

I'm not using FTX, but I've been indirectly affected by this event, which has impacted the market, with most cryptocurrencies falling during this bear market.
I believe that the bitcoin price of the investment will rebound, or continue to hold for a long time to reduce losses as much as possible.

I don't have an account at FTX. However, I only have a few BNBs that have been affected by the FTX case. I actually avoid storing assets in the form of coins or tokens on the DEX. I move and save my tokens to my wallet. The reason is simple, to avoid data leaks and loss of money if one day gets hacked.

I haven't heard FTX until it became the headline of a news.  So with that, I say I have not lost anything from FTX collapse.  Beside even if I known the exchange, I think I wouldn't have any losses because I always keep my fund in my wallet.  I only use exchanges to convert one coins to another coins and withdraw it after the conversion.  As one being involved in the cryptocurrency, this "not your keys not your coin' phrase should be the first one we understand when it comes to using exchanges.

FTX is popular. This is the exchange promoted by finance guru YouTubers that I have been watching for years. After its controversy, most comments o thier video is about them promoting FTX and when are they going to be sorry for luring users to FTX.

Lost $0. I didn't also see FTX to be a necessary exchange to join since I have binance already however I have read comments from reputable legendaries in the forum where they like it because of zero fees and also they see FTT go way high because they compared it to BNB.

I have lost exactly zero dollars with the bankruptcy of FTX, I did not had money at this exchange, or any exchange for that matter, and I did not invested in their token either, now I am holding bitcoin and its price went down so you may wonder why I do not think I have lost a single dollar? But this one is easy, as long as you do not sell your coins you have not lost anything, and since I was planning to hold my coins for the long term anyway this bankruptcy has not affected me economically at all.

I know that FTX is an up-and-coming exchange and they offer almost zero transactions but Binance and Kucoin are the top leaders in the industry and I don't want to trade in an exchange that hasn't proven themselves and I made the right decision of not trading here in FTX, the collapse is huge that it saps the portfolio of many traders, this is another proof that never leaves your coins in exchanges even on the popular ones, don't be tempted to leave.

None.
I trade on Binance but if something goes the same as what came to FTX, I'll pull out my assets there quickly but hopefully that nothing will happen to them close as what FTX did.
I want more of CZs transparency since my funds are there but anyway, I don't like his way being vocal as it's really manipulative in the market.

I didn't experience a loss on the FTX exchange, it's just that I suffered a loss on the FTT token of almost $ 700, there was a lot of drama at the end, starting from Luna to FTX, sometimes I'm confused about what I can believe, because of this incident I want to withdraw all my assets from any exchange and use them if needed
this is the real reason that diversification is essential, you could never be sure which of the coins are gonna increase and decrease, anticipating it by diversifying definitely could save you from losing your investments in the long term, you see those funds management that manages millions of money, they always diversify and implement the risk management and they are still going strong despite all the crashes, you could see that the diversification and risk management is somehow the key that could make your investments success.

never really invested in this coin if there's better coin out there with significantly more utility like bnb, even though there are rumours that bnb definitely gonna suffer the same thing like ftt token but it seems that could hardly comes true considering I'm sure the professionals behind the platform already thought of these things over and over after this has occurred to ftt token surely they aren't going to suffer the same fate and they gonna anticipate it, after all investing in smart contract coin seems significantly better ideas.

Because I don't have any funds there, I haven't even used that exchange, but what happened to them still has an impact on the value of other coins what i have, such as BTC, which goes down, but it's not a problem because BTC always has good fundamentals of all the coins that exist.

and i got the a new message that "Not your keys , Not your crypto"
All custodial wallets such as exchanges or online wallets are not safe, but at least from what is happening right now it provides valuable lessons for you on how to store coins safely and it will be even more useful if you also know what coins are actually worth saving for you.

I had something like $0.70 in FTX. I shorted it as a joke with 20x leverage and got around $10 out when ftt was around $5. Then i tried to play with leverage on that and lost it. I was regretting that i didn't deposit more before shorting because i would have make more money in few days then in whole last bull run.
Even with that $0.7 have would have now made couple hundred bucks if i had let it run to the ground but it doesn't really matter as i wouldn't get it out anyway.

If it's a loss about the dump then it's a big one but I don't want to compute it. That creates stress so better just to leave it there and wait for the pump again.
If it's a loss in the exchange mentioned then it's none. I have not used that exchange yet even though they are one of the popular names.
Binance is still my first choice then next to it is Kucoin.
Well, thankfully this two had never let me down and that's the reason why I never switched to any exchange yet.
Most of us here are long time hodlers and we already accumulated a good number of coins so a heavy crash like we experienced earlier can badly affect our portfolio. Not that computing your losses will give you stress but it will also be a waste of time because as a long term investor, your decision will hardly be affected anymore but you will push what you already started.

Like you I also don't use FTX even though I already known them but even if let say I use them, I think I won't be among of those who lost their funds inside it because I am no way of storing my funds in any centralized exchanges. I hope many people will learn their lesson once again, that not your keys not your coins.
