Due to huge crypto exchange FTX brankcupcy . what is your lost amount?

my one is 120$ and i got the a new message that "Not your keys , Not your crypto"
I'm thankful I didn't lose money with the FTX crash because I didn't use FTX for trading or anything else.
Even though at the beginning FTX launched, I was tempted to try to join.
But apparently, I didn't join and stayed on Binance to trade.
This is a valuable lesson for every trader and investor not to leave their coins on the exchange because this FTX case could happen to other exchanges.
We have to be careful in choosing the exchange and storing our assets there and if we don't trade very often, it's best to keep your assets in another wallet.

I lost nothing for sure. the fact that if these days people were never care with their money. There are so many people who have been loosing caused by FTX. The worst thing is FTX was also getting hacked and the remaining funds in the exchange site got drained too. Im so lucky enough caused by i have withdrawn all of my money. it's not so lucky for my friends who have been storing majority of their funds on FTX. The fact that if these days people are always saying that CEX far better than storing their funds on their wallet but the truth have been told them all if cex was also a very risky place to everything.

I was very lucky because I did not deposit any money on the FTX platform and never tried to trade on it before, although I used to think that this platform is strong and can survive but it quickly went bankrupt and was hacked, so this teaches us not to trust any exchanges, the only advantage What I need is P2P but I can do without it if my money is in danger of losing, there are those who lost a lot of money on FTX platform, yesterday I checked what users posted on the official telegram group of the FTX platform and found that there are millions of victims.

If it's a loss about the dump then it's a big one but I don't want to compute it. That creates stress so better just to leave it there and wait for the pump again.
If it's a loss in the exchange mentioned then it's none. I have not used that exchange yet even though they are one of the popular names.
Binance is still my first choice then next to it is Kucoin.
Well, thankfully this two had never let me down and that's the reason why I never switched to any exchange yet.

Nothing. Actually, I've heard too little about this exchange until the bankruptcy happened, although it was listed as the second biggest exchange of crypto market. All I knew about it was a kind of 'meme' created from a picture of the ex-CEO SBF kind of smilling in a very bizarre way, and that he was purchasing another bankrupted crypto companies. Well, it didn't last 6 months and FTX was found to be on the same bad conditions. For people who lost funds it's time to rebuild and from now on adopting a new strategy when investing funds virtually.

indeed investing in ftt such bad idea, it was such a good coin back then and now it becomes shit coins, even though my investments in ftt isn't that much regardless still a loss, can't imagine so many out there are losing millions in this definitely not because their fault but because the companies itself, I think we should think twice in term of investing, maybe diversifying seems like a good idea now that it seems literally the highest ranked coin could lose its value so easily.
It was good because they were manipulating the price artifitially with customers' money. I think now people must be very careful with native tokens from exchanges. Don't invest a significant portion of your holdings on them.

As long as I am still holding my coins, I don't think that I am losing my money. My portfolio is only decreasing, like what happened in the other crash market as usual. Here, as long as we don't get panic enough, we can still control ourselves to hold the coins. Except that we are having FTT, this may be different because we must manage our money in this coin. Btw, for some reason, this crash market precisely gives me more chances to add some coins by buying at a lower price. But, I really expect that this problem will solve soon and will not continue to the worse situation.

Not to kick anyone when they are down but this happens so much why do people keep insisting on using an exchange as a wallet?  Outside of the people that got caught up the day it happened there shouldn't be any money on theor platform.  It's just an exchange that's it.  People need to learn but unfortunately this will happen again.

I haven't heard FTX until it became the headline of a news.  So with that, I say I have not lost anything from FTX collapse.  Beside even if I known the exchange, I think I wouldn't have any losses because I always keep my fund in my wallet.  I only use exchanges to convert one coins to another coins and withdraw it after the conversion.  As one being involved in the cryptocurrency, this "not your keys not your coin' phrase should be the first one we understand when it comes to using exchanges.

I didn't experience a loss on the FTX exchange, it's just that I suffered a loss on the FTT token of almost $ 700, there was a lot of drama at the end, starting from Luna to FTX, sometimes I'm confused about what I can believe, because of this incident I want to withdraw all my assets from any exchange and use them if needed

I lost the trust from exchanges one more time and gained lesson that always trade quickly on them and move your assets to hardware wallets. Now I am more happy that I have invested on hardware wallets and I am keeping my coins locked up there for better future. I don’t know why traders usually tend to put up so much money on the exchanger and leave it there unattended. They will never take the responsibility for it and that is also one of the key point they will add into their Terms of Services. So they always get an upper hand when such situation arises and peeps loose the money.

Directly, zero. I never signed up to those scammers exchange. I never trusted that guy. None of these events were surprising to me.
Indirectly, my crypto balance impact as everybody else. Everything went down so as a big crypto holder I had a loss too. It's funny that we see these kind of things regularly and still fail to escape unaffected. No matter what we do, we get losses in some way. The exchange, crypto company or a coin that we don't even use negatively affects the entire ecosystem.

I have lost absolutely nothing, i don't hold funds on exchanges, neither have i ever used FTX, and i also own zero FTT. These things can't happen enough for people to understand that leaving their funds on exchanges is a terrible mistake and they should also not be hodling funds/coins that are basically centralized/worthless shitcoins that can collapse pretty easily, there'd be many more similar incidences in the future, but i'm afraid it will happen with no lessons learned. Having said that, there is a reason why people hodl Bitcoin that is sustainable for the long run, because it can't go extinct or completely collapse, there could be a serious plunge like what is happening now, but since it basically has an actual utility, you just know that it is definitely going to recover with time.

I lose nothing.

I could have be one of those people that lose money to FTX deception but I am always turned off by the FTX app and design, is not attractive at all, the dashboard looks so ugly and unattractive that's why I stay away. I am glad they failed to work on the exchange design if not I would have be a prey.

I personally did not use FTX for my trades at all, for that i use Pancakeswap, Uniswap or Kucoin if i am using a centralize exchange. Therefore i did not suffer any direct loss because of the whole drama around FTX. Of course i was indirectly affected by it, just like everyone else that is involved in the crypto space. My portfolio value has dropped again significantly even though i was already down more than 95% in comparison to it's ATH of may 2021. I have a medium amount of Kucoin shares on Kucoin itself because of the Kucoin bonus and also the whitelisting for sales and stuff but of course in theory the same thing that happened to FTX can happen to every other centralized exchange.

If my fund is ever going to get trapped in an exchange it's going to be binance because this is the platform I use for trading and I always leave behind few hundreds of dollars.

I was never a fan of FTX exchange, since the day they migrated from Blockfolio I've stopped using the app. I've never thought of investing in FTT token too, I guess I am just lucky.

I have recommended FTX to some people only because I thought it's the next big exchange, I was wrong all along, the best lesson to learn here is never leave any assets on centralised exchanges.

Thanks God that I have not used FTX regularly and at the time of this bad situation there was no fund in my ftx. I use Binance for daily trading but now I have no trust on Cex more and want to be safe from these kind of collapse I am 80% out From Crypto. Ftx collapse is very big and Usdt price was also down to 0.97 which is very bad sign for crypto.

I have around $100 at 6 november and then i have managed to withdraw my $90 to the personal wallet and leave the rest in FTX. i have tried to make another withdrawal around 8 november but the withdrawal already halted and so i have lose $10 due to the FTX. i rarely stored my funds in cex but i just have only $100 in FTX before the hack happened and mostly my funds are safe in my personal wallet.
my friend lose $350k caused by he was storing all of his funds in FTX. that's very sad to see he was losing all of his saving and retirement funds on his FTX account.

There are no assets in the FTX exchange so this is not a stress for me..

Already know that storing assets on the exchange will involve great risk so I don't keep it anyway a non-custodial wallet is the best recommendation.
With the bankruptcy, FTX opened our eyes, never to put long-term money in any exchange, so that something like this could result in regret later.

It was also reported that SBF had been hunted by many investors to want him back, there was other news as well that SBF had fled on a private jet with his staff.

None for me.
This is just another reminder to everyone investing in crypto that it's not really good to store your crypto in an exchange. Lucky, you only lost $120. How about the other users?
Unfortunate event like this is nothing new in crypto space. This is a quite similar case happened with QuadrigaCX. Soon, all of us would wake up to a news that what happened with this exchange was deliberate.
