The reason why i gamble is for fun, because whenever i gamble i don't take it seriously just to feel enjoyment. But most of people the reason why they gamble is for profit, because its easy to earn profit when you gamble, especially if you have your own strategy and you have skills in gambling. These are the reason of some people why they gamble just to have fun or to earn profit.
In my point of view. People do gamble for both reason.
Earning while enjoying, since you can have a huge money if you win from it.
Vice versa you can also loss money if you lose the game.
But at the same time if you are happy and contented means you enjoyed it.
And you take it for fun.
But most of the time people do gambling for te easy money.
Means it for profit.
I think people all over the world plays gambling because for the purpose of profit, everybody wants to earn money so they will prefer to play games in gambling, I also feel the same gambling for profit after winning in gambling that gives so much of fun. I'm gambling just for fun or having fun in times of trouble, but I gamble on limit for his capital if I do not limit I will lose everything because it's just for a moment's pleasure. and if I win it is just luck because in the end I will lose

For me as a one of the poor people. I do gambling just to have and earn profit that is good for daily needs or as an additional income for the whole day. Buy when you are rich and have a proggressive life. They can consider the gambling as for fun and nothing else.I also gamble because i want to win and even though my losses outweigh my wins i am still in profit in the long run and will hope to widen up against my losses before the end of the football season. I will never understand those that gamble for fun because it doesn't make sense to me to loose money for fun.
that is the nature of gambling where nobody can win against the house no matter what …. mathematically and realistically . the statement that made by einstein should enough to make people give up . but yes gambling addiction are not something that easily to deal with.
Actually in case of bitcoin gambling everyone does it for fun only...as all the website are doing their own business they may not allow you make a lot profit more than they gets from you...so nobody thinks of profit...its fun only.
I think you are not watching movies that are related with gambling. At least there, you will know and see that gamblers don’t just actually do it for fun. They make big profit from it. I assume, no one will ever let their money lose without any return. Well fun is a big bonus on it otherwise it hurts a lot when you lose.
You said true that these stories are totally based on the things which are totally away from real life and this can also affect your life because people around you wouldn’t like get such odds from your side which are frustrating most of the time.
Used to be for fun at first and I didn't think of it becoming an addiction or anything, time eventually came when I got myself too deep into gambling than I would have wanted. Got addicted as my main goal was to earn whatever fraction of the amount I have lost. Yes, I have lost a lot more than gained.
Both reason are equally valid.

Also, winning the profit cant be ignored. It is equally enticing for someone whi is putting their money and playing.

I never treat gambling as a source of income, I just do it for fun. OF course it is more fun if you won, but if you lose me personally it is okay.
If you gamble for profit you may get disappointed every time you lose.
Unless you are a professional gamblers I think you can not count gambling as profitable because in the end the house always wins.

Yes gambling is one of the earning source for a normal person like other earnings , sometime it gives profit and gives loss for everyone so majority of people gamble for profit remaining some people gamble with little investment for fun .
there is really nothing wrong if you aim for profit with gambling. The only hard truth is that, it is not easy to reach your goals when you are playing or gambling to games that are based on pure luck because the house have more of the advantage over you.
But if you are just taking this gambling as a part of your life and you think you can earn money over it, believe me you are being deceived, leave it.

I dont have more money to waste just to have fun. I will gamble because i need to earn more profit. But i think is not a good idea to gamble just earn money. More likely you lose it and you will end up broke. Maybe you try to invest whatever money you want to gamble so that is a sureball you can gain from it. Maybe buy and sell bitcoin. Gambling is addictive you might be hooked so i guess better be careful to engage with it.

I gamble to get a profit even though in reality it's very hard to yield a profit in gambling it really needs a luck for you to win in the end of the game.

Gambling does still take some skill into consideration depending on the game. For example, Poker requires some skill as you regulate your exposure to a certain bet. Although luck is still greatly involved here, you have the power to control or manage your risk.
I don't consider luck as a way to be successful in gambling, therefore we should not rely on luck alone if we are gambling regularly as we can improve ourselves if we play a game like skilled based games. Knowing the risk is the way to manage it, you cannot expose everything you have as that is not already in accordance wit the rule that you should gamble what you can afford to lose.

gambling doesnt really need skills exept on some other forms of gambling like sports, esports , card based. however you should also keep in mind that most gambling like dice games and hi lo games are mainly based on pure luck but overall in my case i only gamble just because i want to earn a profit and not just for fun only. loosing money is not fun at all exept your gambling without money involved.
