does it have any possible a happy ROI. I know lots of people are on whatsapp which definitely would make a boost but going by the terms and condition its looking more centralized than it's proposed decentralized nature what do you think. is it worth risking, is it going to be a nice investment or would mark decide to act like musk who would influence the market at will?

I good link would have been better.

But for sure this will be centralised so it will really depends on the individual, if he is willing to invest on such project because for sure there will be a lot of questions and this project might not start on good food.

Second, I'm sure you know who is the people behind whatsapp. And he has been in the limelight because his original project has been shutdown by regulators. And I have the hunch that it will happen again if he pushes with this project.

I've never heard of this before, I thought this was new news but after I checked on coinmarketcap it wasn't there, so this news is not true...

If such an event really took place, then we would have learned about it firsthand from Zuckerberg himself. Such events could not be overlooked by major news outlets. It remains a mystery to me how the OP found out about the existence of such a WhatsApp coin?

are you talking about this token whatsapp token airdrop why should buy it if can get it for free, and I'm not sure this token was officially launched from Meta, it is very likely that people use the name of this famous platform to trap many newbie investors for thinking this is official from whatsapp, the purpose this token only for pump and dump if developer really can listing this token in exchange

Anything is possible to give you a good ROI the only problem is whether this is a legit token or not. Many people believe that whatsapp never issue a token in crypto. Remember that even DIEM already dead as facebook already sold it to the another party. I do believe any token that used the name of popular guy or companies will always be result to be a scam token. You must be careful with this new token.
have you done any research before? what's the result from your DYOR. I never hear this before even it's not published by coindesk or cointelegraph.
Im feeling doubt if this is a real token from what's app. Probable another scam token.

WhatsApp is a part of facebook and if you don't know I remind you that Diem formerly named as Libra project was sold by Facebook recently to a bank so if you see any project in the name of WhatsApp of whatever it could be a scam project and don't spend even a penny because it is going to be completely lost.

Moreover, Mark is not yet interested in developing Whatsapp into a coin because we all know he is developing his own project with Facebook, namely Meta, so I think what the OP wrote above is not real.

It doesn't possible to give you happy ROI. It's a scam token. There would never be whatsapp token, I never see whatsapp was creating an annoucement about this. That's another shit scam token created by scammers.

Yeah om using whatsapp as well but this token is a fake token. It doesn't matter how centralized or decentralized it caused by the scam token is aiming for your money. it's not even worth risking your money to buy the shit scam token that has no any affiliation with its official company, I don't even see any correlation with musk. Remember that musk is only FOMOing meme token. that being said if it's different with the case of whatsapp token.

If this WhatsApp token is not associated with the Meta company, then this indicates that someone wants to make money using this trademark. Obviously, this coin is created for pump&dump, like many coins that try to use identical names of popular coins and people.

You need to be extremely careful, just because a token has that name it does not mean that it is affiliated to Whatsapp, in fact since there has not been any big news about something like that then I can basically guarantee that the developers of that project are using that name illegally.

So with that in mind do you think that there is any chance that this project is not a scam? Because it should be painfully obvious that it is, and no one should risk their money by investing in such a coin.

It's owned by Meta(Facebook).

I think there's no more interest left for that company to build their own token. They're putting their interest to metaverse instead of tokens.

They've just sold their Diem project to Silvergate and that's already enough to think that projects like this is no longer interesting if they've already abandoned their first crypto project.
That is true, and if ever they will announce a new coin (which I doubt they will) it will be for Meta (Facebook) first and not for whatsapp.
OP is there a token inside the whatsapp application? Because I haven't tried it in my whole life and I think it's possible that you are confusing an in-app token that is just used for the application and not a cryptocurrency. Like diamonds, golds in different android games to be used for in-app purchases only.
Maybe he's also confused.

But I may be wrong on it as well.

However, with all the news that came out from the sale of Diem which is the Facebook's project that has been there since 2018 IIRC was no longer going to be on their hands.

So it's going to be trying hard for them if they'll pursue it with whatsapp which they also own.

I can't say a lot about this coz this totally depend with the hype. A big hype means good ROI, no hype means no big ROI.

You can't expect this to be decentralized coz any tokens will be centralized when it comes to the programmed smartcontract. it's caused by the decentralization of the token will be pegged with the native blockchain and i should also remind you that if  smartcontract can be centralized and this totally depend with the team who has issued the smartcontract. It's quite difficult to say that if this will not be decentralized without doing a proper audit tot he smartcontract.

Whatsapp tokens never existed and the owner couldn't possibly make jokes like this but if you find news about investment ROI especially with whatsapp tokens then it's a scam by creating hype so people are interested and I didn't find anything about whatsapp will launch a token when there is news about this then it can be said to be a scam.

As @ScamVirus once pointed out that this token is trying to do an ICO sale for money, however for him it has been telling us that it is a scam.

there is a possibility that it will be popularized and like the role of musk changing doge with the power of individual roles that everyone can believe in musk's steps, and that will also be true with the real token project behind the whatsapp token team who is very important in today's digital world..All we have to do is believe that the team from WhatsApp tokens has supplied one trillion WhatsApp tokens with ico marks..

There is never a WhatsApp token yet if you come across any it's 100% a scam token, WhatsApp is big enough for their token to be hide or remain unknown, if a WhatsApp token is released today all the world will know about it, beware of scam tokens.

First - I tried searching for the token on coinmarketcap but found nothing, so you probably should have added a link leading to the token on your post so that those seeing or hearing this for the first time might take a look.

Second - WhatsApp token, if there be anything like it, is in all sincerity not related to the whatsapp we all use, whatsapp is owned by Zuckerberg of Facebook, we all know that Zuckerberg tried launching he's own project called "META" which unfortunately, hasn't been successful of late, Zuckerberg never announced any launch of any token or project called whatsapp token.
So from my own perspective, I think the founders of this token are scammers trying to take advantage on the popularity of whatsapp to rip people off their hard earned money, so I would advice you and every one else interested in investing in this token do a proper research before making a decision.
