Simple, find a good alternative coins, at least on the top 100 listing in coinmarketcap.com then hold it till time passing by. Mostly, the token or coins will need a long time to gain a good value like bitcoin way back time 2012, correct me if I'm wrong.
My plan is quite simple. I will hold all my coins until the crypto is recognized as the international currency and the crypto market actually recovers. because I've lost half my assets, Then the biggest jump will happen, and I am not losing as it is now.
Strategy? Well, I don't have any strategy, just a simple high sale and low buy.
One thing or a very simple but good enough strategy and what I would do in short-term trading activity is, I would buy some crypto at a low price and of course sell at a high price. and for long term trading of course the strategy I will do is. Basic but very profitable especially for those who have a lots of time to investigate and research those coins inside the exchange
I plan to wait out the market in altcoins and as soon as the market comes to, start trading by getting a good profit. I think it will not be earlier than in October..

Actually that's the reason also if we need to doing in trading we need to research some more or to buy or sell in the right if this be a long term or short term. But they have some coins in the market are too hard to increase the price of it. What are the strategies that you use for take more profit whether you are in short term trading or long term trading ?
The thing I am doing right now I can call a long term trading, but sometimes there are actual coins, that are good for short term. Some projects are great recently, and they are growing.
My trading plan is always changing and very much depends on the market itself, if the market grows fast, then I will withdraw money to Fiat and the BTC. As the market falls, I will re-buy. And of course, there are a couple of coins that only HODL. about these coins can be forgotten for a long time and in the end to get a good profit.
The cryptocurrency market is very volatile and it is very difficult to decide which tactics are more profitable. I prefer long term trading because short term trading is very risky.
just simple, i personally buy when the price still low and sell it when the price is pump or higher. be carefully choose which coin you want to invest, the price will more higher but it can lower also after buy. be wise

This market is highly volatile and not suitable to short term or intra-day trading. I always prefer to long term investment because no one here who predict this market moves to which direction market will go that time

I always prefer long term trading as we cannot catch the market volatility because this market react very sharply on any positive or negative news. Short term trading always risky as you cannot control your account 24x7 and no one knows when market moves to which direction so in my opinion, long term is a best option to trade. I will continue to learn, because trading is a new thing for me then I have to follow tips from various masters who are here, if already proficient then I am sure can generate up to thousands of dollars per week even per day.
Actually you can learn something in here because they have so many people in here are knows about trading and strategy for trading. We know it was too hard to make trading and if that your first time to trade also. We can learn in here a lot if we are research some tips.
I do not participate in short-term trading, for this you need to have a lot of experience in trading, my choice is this is a long-term investment, I buy cheap coins and look forward to growth

I think that many adhere to the same plan as you. If successfully analyze coins which fell dramatically in price, then this to earn good money. I unfortunately could not earn a lot, but I still have a lot of time in order to gain knowledge in this field.

My strategy is to divide on some altcoins that are still within the limits of management, and buy gradually by looking at the market situation. 
My trading plan is always make profit anytime wether in short term or long term, always patience if you want to aim big profit from your trading. Buy more of different potential coins in dip price and wait the price increase until it reach your target of profit.
