I so much believe in cryptocurrency and i believe i good coins. It is my strong believe in good coins that make me to hold them. I liked the idea of holding and the is the only way you can have a sure profit.
Assurance that the project has so much potential so is the coin and also holding so as not to regret my actions later in the future cause i cant afford losing what am supposes to gain so to be on a safer side i hold
maybe most people are motivated to hold their coins because they want to get maximum profit,
but for me holding a coin for a long time is just a waste of time,
because there is no guarantee that in the future the price of the coin we hold will have a fantastic price.

For me, a long-term investment is to hold a coin for 3-6 months. I think this is the optimal time for which the project can make product

It motivates mo to hold because all my relatives getting a lot of money here in bitcoin and mostly of them are investor now, I witness all those transaction with them and they show me their wallet that's why I keep on holding too.
If a coin is undervalued it motivates me to HODL to give enough time to the team to deliver
on promises. It is only the case when I am fully confident in the project and the team behind.

More than anything is the faith I have in cryptos, there are many projects that I really think will work and we need right now, so I hodl tokens or coins to use them in the platform they launch, there is also the clear monetary part, it makes little sense to sell coins at a lower price than at ATH.
The volatility of the cryptocurrency market has always been present, but at the same time, for several years now we see how cryptocurrencies are rapidly going up. That is why I am sure that investing in the long term is still profitable.
Why I'm still holding? Simple reason, I do not want to regret or make a decision which I know it will be a mistake in the future. Selling at bear market is like you letting go the opportunity to hold and earn big amount offline profit. If you don't need money so better to.wait to grow the equivalent of what you have

When your portfolio has lost 90% of its value from ATH, to hodl is the only option left. Trying to resque the final 10% at the price to never recover in future the 90% which you have lost - that is not an option. This is a motivation.
Aside from the profits motivated me, the project itself has a huge potential to grow more in the future. So that's why I keep holding my coins and still motivated until now.
Because I trust the crypto and I believe in the future it will grow stronger. I had a lot of opportunities to sell the tokens when it helped me make a profit, but I kept hold for the future.
To me, it is all about global uncertainty. The world is shifting to populism and "closed borders." But the core driver our world economy is none other than technology!
So, my thinking is this: "if the the backbone of the economy is tech, which is inherently global, but the masses seem to want to close borders... we've got an opportunity on our hands."
People with money and power don't really like being told what to do. That's why I think we're seeing a shift (from many very wealthy people) into crypto. I think that shift is not over yet.

Somehow when I realize the crypto industry and blockchain is still new, I'll start seeing myself as and early adopter therefore making me keep calm so I don't get to cry in the future and also when I really know I can't sell the dipped coins
Somehow, seeing that the team keeps delivering what's need to be done even during the red days keeps me going and hodling, actually. Plus, continued community support and updates, you can't leave a project you believed in just like that. It is just a matter of time, really, for a substantial project to kick in. As I observe them, I can really see the enthusiasm and passion about bringing the crypto as much as they can, so I keep believing in them and hodling. It's just sometimes, you get irritated on how whales manipulate such great projects plus those pump and dump folks that sometimes you wanted to give up.
It's dependent of your strategy. If when you buy coin you are realize that you buy for a long time this is not to hard
Most times, some people say they are here for the money while some other people say they are here for the tech. Well, I am here for both so I cash out whenever I need money though I try to diversify my portfolio because there are coins which are there just for holding because I know the crypto industry is still young and there is large room for real growth.
Actually when we hodl we have to take the risk. With perfect researches you can have good predictions. But not all the time they turns out to be real. Still i think we keep faith on strong analysis.
The biggest motivations are the sweetest predictions. In my case when i think that the coin may have some real nice growth i hodl. The predictions inspire me. But still i keep myself prepared for any kind of result.
I'm holding the prospect of crypto currency. The graphs show that the rise in prices for crypto-currencies significantly exceeds their fall.
