altcoin which only pumps and dumps, there is no clear roadmap and the development is bad, we can see its characteristics when the market releases and shows unrealistic prices and then continues to decline.
while altcoin is really good he will survive and follow btc.

I think of Litecoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin, XLM and Rippe. Not only are they ranked as the top currencies, they also have many partners and practical applications, payment and widely used in many places as a common currency! Besides, the technology and potential that come from the background of these projects is amazing!

A lot of new coins are coming, and we cannot identify if one of them will die soon, it depends on their project. Before buying a coin or a token make sure that you search for it and read their project and if you think that they have a future or not then decide for yourself. For me, ETH is for sure left behind all of the altcoins out there.

The coins that have real use and are actively delivering on their promises and road map will have a good future I think. There are many coins that get pumped and dumped just for personal gains. So far I have not seen only a handful of coins that have real use and that are delivering on their promises. I think bitcoin has a real use.

Do they have interoperability with the greater blockchain mesh?
Do they serve some unique purpose that no other crypto is geared to do?
If some other crypto is geared to do that purpose, how does this crypto do it better?
How transparent is the team? If they're lacking there, are they purposely opaque or just poorly organized?
How much does the team spend on R&D vs. marketing?
What is the community like? Are they talking about concepts and ideas or do they talk price, price, price, exchange listing, price?

Stakenet is my favorite alt for hitting the nail on the head the right way in all these regards.

i think these are important for altcoins, so the altcoin which has could be long last in crypto space :
  • great project
  • great team dev
  • big community
  • good exchange
  • great milestone achievement
  • great marketing
  • fast growing

We have seen many companies like this but failed to develop after fundraising. Sometimes it is impossible to find the legit company even though we have seen all the qualities and from 2017, many companies with these qualities cannot able to secure good product and cannot able to survive their price in the market.

For projects who are trying to raise money now doing their token offering and failing to gather funds, those will surely die out and not come back, they're just using reasons like waiting for the market to bounce back before they try to do another ICO. Though there are altcoins that is definitely the future, crypto/blockchain is now being incorporated everywhere due to its technology, there's Twitch+Netflix where viewers can earn tokens by engaging. Anything that improves the current system and helps adoption is key.

As for projects that had successful funding, its really up to the team to deliver and from their efforts, we can say that they are the future. If they're not doing anything to market their product, then the investors will just die out.

I think the only long term altcoin is the real working product and what people can really use in crypto currency. Surely over time many altcoins will die and the only ones left are altcoins that are really stable and helpful to humans.

If altcoins will die, maybe our very best options now was still bitcoin to do a significant potential profit gains. As I can see the market right now it wasn't having good movement and most of the altcoins we'rent able to sustain a definite increase in value. There might be some optional coins, but eventually it will again lose its value when it enters the market.

The possibility of altcoin that will last a long time is altcoin with the concept of stable coin, stable coin concept of investing in fiat and its value follows the fiat value. Altcoin like BNB made by large exchangers is altcoin which is likely to survive. Ethereum with a large community, despite its low growth for now.

Thanks to all the friends who shared the suggestions! Altcoins are very risky, but the rate of return will be high! This is a very attractive market! If two years later, the altcoins still alive will definitely have an amazing return.

With the current situation of Crypto nowadays, we can't be certain which altcoins have a future. Personally I only have BTC and ETH and a few altcoins in my portfolio now but still, I am uncertain which one will perform best in the future. I personally think that only the father and mother will survive for sure, I am not sure with their kids, it all depends on how well they will adapt to our current situation of supply and demand.

I personally do not know which type of altcoin will die, but in my opinion coins that do not have volume and demand over time will disappear from cryptocurrency and I personally think maybe only the top 20 coins will survive or arguably compete with each other .

Although there is no specific guidelines to determine which of altcoins have a future, a common observation may be applied. Any altcoins that are still active and being used by traders such as ETH, XRP, Monero and etc. are considered to have a future since we can see that its developers and creators are not stopping supporting and developing it in order to make its transaction cheaper, better, and more efficient.

You'd better ask about the altcoins that will survive  Smiley
The list of potentially dead coins would be too long, heh Smiley
I think 99% of all altcoins we see now will die in the nearest 2 years.

in my opinion the type of altcoin that will die is
1. coin that has no progress in the project
2. the team is not active to provide information about the project
3. investors are not interested to investing in the project (have a low volume), because the project doesn't have a good product

The price of altcoins are more volatile than that of bitcoin. They may skyrocket or fall within seconds of the time frame. They are more risky to hold. The new altcoins are even more riskier. Altcoins that are considered "shit coins" (coins that are just some regular coin with no outstanding feature or coins that are clone of other coins) will eventually die. The coins get pumped by the developer and then they end up dumping it which results the death of the coin.

I don’t know if what you meant here is that altcoins that would  not die, because if you are looking for altcoins that will die, you will find thousands of them in the market and there is no point listing them here because the whole page will be full of different failed and bad projects that people know and that would really not help matter, so I think what we should be researching out now are projects that we can comfortably say that they will stand in the future for their real solid projects.

I am this kind of person that personally, I don’t like discussing about failures, but I like talking more of successful projects that we have in the market and I think most successful projects that I know right now are projects that are within the top 20 coins documented on coinmarketcap.

Without any form of gainsaying, you should know that shitcoins are bound to die. Also, that a coin has a produced or that the team profess that the is a product, does not mean that it will not die. In fact, if the product is not being used actively and does not have future prospects, it will still not survive after fee years. So, ensure you do a lot of research on a project and make sure it is truly available, before investing in it.
