In my opinion, actually all altcoins have a chance but most of the existing altcoins don't have a product, other than that the developer team isn't solid and is also traded on a small exchanger so it doesn't have enough volume to lift prices. Altcoin will die when the developer team no longer actively communicates with investors, other than that when there is no active trading in the market
This is simply the truth, most altcoin projects do not have a product. Some will release an MVP to lure in investors at token sale stage, but will never develop a working product. Team members who do not have a product and do not foster project development will have a failed project in future. Also coins on exchanges with very poor volume, without any hope for listing on better exchanges will die in future. Take for instance, a coin is listed on coinexchange only, coinexchange is closing up and deadline for withdrawal is 1st December, and there are no markets to trade that coin, this will lead to massive dump and no buy orders.
