I prefer to invest on projects which are going to make the lives of ordinary people better (I'm talking about health care, retirement, etc.)

A blockchain (infrastructure) projects with zillions of TPS are the only way to go. It seems people are biting a lot when these kid of claims are mentioned. Not complaining tho, some of these projects can be game changers in a long run.
If the projects is not just doing it for the money then I would invest in it. Ethereum is a nice investment.

I choose only those projects that offer favorable conditions for their investors. In this area is not important topics and popularity. The main thing that I was sure that I can definitely make a lot of money. I choose only such projects

I can not say that for me it is one of the best options for earnings. Now it's just for fun. That's why I choose projects that just like me. Another option for myself, I do not see yet, as I do not see the point of looking for it
i would invest on interesting working projects. not necessarily a project back with powerful blockchain. what i'm looking for is the commercial value. without it, its basically no real use of the coin.
One of the projects that I have always looked out for is one that has to do with ecommerce, Ecommerce is worth 5 trillion Dollar in marketcap and bringing a crypto into the space can share the market revenue and such blockchain should suffice as a payment processor

At the moment all kinds of project is risky. Only day trading can make us profitable I think. Because there is no chance for new big invest or find any way for change this situation in overnight. It is quite impossible for grow up now or some days later. Only can down and down. Sorry, you can see grow up sometimes but at the end or finally it must go down more. Long term projects are too nice for me because their positions on the cryptomarket are so hard and what is more the possibility of being scammed is much lower.
As for me, popularity is among the thing i check against an ICO. We live in the time where popularity influence most of our decision and ICOs knows this part.
So an ICO actively pursuing a good backing by popular or known personalities is always a plus for me. If those people who have a reputation to protect is able to endorse an ICO then that ICO must be on to something really good (and probably profitable).
Though it does not end there of course. Checking how well the project was laid out on their whitepaper is just as important. If i could not juice out the whole idea of the project, then there's a good chance that others would not be able to follow suit too.
Lastly, among the most important factor that could convince me to invest is the transparency of the ICO against its fund collection. Allowing people to transparently see their wallet address in use for the collection is another big plus. It signals sincerity and honesty.
The team members will usually be the last thing i would check as a lot of scam ICOs are able to sneak up with fraudulent backgrounds that looks legit.
