Not working very well in Ukraine. The West already sent $32 billion in armament and money, but Ukraine is losing.

A country can be recognised as a powerful country due to their technology and their functions of things then created that support other countries like now the US is workpower so they are respectful because they have technology is they can use to fight any country that come against them and also they have different method of generating found in their country without borrowing from another country when they have their monetary challenge so all these are the things that people use to respect their country

^^^ All these things and the ability to use them are gifts from God, for the people of those countries. They are not supposed to be used to make a country powerful. Rather, they are to be used to help the poor. But there are always warmongers that twist good things into things of war.

There are certain underlying factors that 8distinguishes the strongest nations from others Viz;
1. Power: Every strong nation have been able to solve the electricity problem. Power is the base for which industrialization, education, agriculture, SMEs etc thrives and in return the government gain from the bills and  this drive the
2. Economic power: powerful countries regulate and have policies that maintains the value of their currencies
3. Exportation and importation: powerful countries leverage on their strength and take advantage of the vulnerability of the lesser countries who have not worked on number 1 above
3. Natural resources: wise use on local natural resources is important this includes the exploration of the underlying oceans the world is 70 percent water there are deep riches there
4. Arms and ammunitions is another area too

The term independence is one that comes with a lot of obligations for a people as having an ability of sole existence, produce more of what is needed for there survival and sovereignty or control over the happenings within it's nation state. This is where most nations have failed especially developing nations because, they've been unable to carter for its masses.
It isn't out of place to say one nation can't exist comfortably without the other due to the distribution of resources both human and natural  but, having the tendency to depend more than normal on other nations for what you consume doesn't really make you dependent does it?

The dominance of a nation with respect to others relies mainly in there;
1. Economic power.
How stable is the economy, if they produce more than they import and don't depend more on importation.
2. There military power
This defines how secure is the state of the nation and what weapon they've got in there arsenal to defend the state in times of invasion. Needing foreign aids is you as well being subject to terms and not being in control.

Some nations would always be ahead or dependent on others, not because they far existed or gained independence before others but, there ability to harness there human and natural resources for the greater good of there nation state.

What makes country more influential and powerful to others is the policies in the country, the type of leaders they have, the quality of their currency and more importantly, the Agencies they have. For example the security, the Health and so on and so forth. Like in Africa, Nigeria is influential because of its resources and military

I think his military strength and education are extraordinary. a country that lacks education will greatly affect the country. and a country that does not have military power, must still be less powerful than other countries.

I will say that what makes some countries to be more valuable and the important than other countries in this because of they have more wall equipment they also have companies investment and that does not like money and they also have a large technology that other countries that come and cross them or with him around them does not have that is why some countries are bigger than other countries and some countries also respect others because of their development conditions

A country's state of economy affairs is what gives it a priority over others and this start with the measure of the abundance of its natural resources, development and research advancements that has birth into alot of discoveries other countries are benefitting from, if you're not producing anything and having no results to show forth on recent developments then such country might be looked down on and have to be dependent on other advancing countries to dictate for them, this is another way of acquiring power by what solution to give to the world to mark your unique presence.

Having a large economy value,
Strong military forces
Having a government that cares for it citizens,
Good leadership.
The right of citizens are been valued.

Their military capacity, that country past history in series of wars and the ability to produce war equipment by themselves

^^^ People were civilized right from the Beginning. Adam and Eve were civilized, and their first son, Cain, showed that he was, by murdering his brother. Loads of Adam's and Eve's children and grand-children were civilized in a good way. It's just that there weren't very many of them at the start.

We don't know how populated the Earth was before the Great Flood of Noah's day. Some estimates are into the billions. They were civilized in the fact that they worked together, but their civilization had loads of murder and contract breaking in it. And, above all, their civilization turned away from God and His laws for them.

After the Flood, probably the first serious civilization was set up by Nimrod at the tower of Babel. Following that, or around the same time, the Sumerians became a great civilization. The point is, these civilizations failed for the same reason that countries fail today. Ultimately they don't follow God's laws and worship Him.

First of all I will say civilization,when did they started getting Civilization, then can talk about stranded millitry strength as well too.
Been a powerful nation is all about having a good economy,a good government and also a good security system,having all this can make you to become a powerful nation or country.

For example let take the UNITED STATE OF AMERICAN now we all know they are the world powerful nation now,reason been that there economy is stable,they have a good leadership,good security system and also has a well equip and we'll trane millitry system,and this are all the quality that make them powerful then many countries today.
And again been educated also is also a strength of a powerful nation and also the intelligence of the government and the citizens too make a powerful nation.

That would be a combination of Population, GDP and military.
The possession of nuclear weapons unfortunately is also bonus which can deter other countries to act against autocracies. North Korea is a good example, it is not a significantly powerful nation, does not have a thriving economy or the biggest army, but only their nuclear program is enough to keep in line their adversaries.

Also, influence of a country over others is a factor: imperialism, but I do not know what the dependence of this one on the other factors is, neither is it is a mandatory characteristic of powerful countries or not.

Right!  It's power, not money, that is strong.

I mean, if somebody was invincible, and had the power of Superman, he could rule the world, right? I mean, who could stop him, right?

There are many factors that contribute to a country's level of power, including economics, demographics, military, environmental and resource power, political power, and many others, but the military power of a nation is the most crucial. Many nations are weak because they lack adequate armed forces and other equipment to defend their territory or to win wars, as in the case of Russia and Ukraine, where Russia used what they had to defeat Ukraine. Therefore, in my opinion, a country's military might is what really sets it apart from rival nations.

you're wrong, rule of law and and standard of living has nothing to do with , what makes a country powerful.
The only thing you said and I agree, is literacy. Is one of the things that make a country a powerful one. Because education brings innovation and invention of weapons of mass destruction and other dangerous arms. Through scientific research, but the most important thing that makes a country powerful than others is his military power and economic power. that's the only thing that makes a country powerful.

literacy and rule of law make the country more powerful - USA is powerful and Canada and France and China
all these countries are developed countries. PEople would want to run to those country for better standard of living

What makes a country to be powerful than another country is the ability of balancing they are resources without any contradiction and the secondary having a wall equipment that when problem comes from another country they will be able to defend their self without seeking for help of any other so this is the thing is that will come stay it that makes a country to be more relevant and another country
