We have different ways of thinking when it comes to gambling. However, since we are all gamblers here, we enjoy the thrill of the action. Even within gambling, we have different preferences for games. The key here is to only gamble what you can afford to lose. It doesn't matter if it's 50% of your income as long as you can afford to lose it. By saying you can afford to lose it, I mean that you won't struggle financially if you lose that amount. Gambling is uncertain, and in reality, most of us lose, so it's better to be smart and accept these possibilities when gambling.
Then to stay away on addiction then I guess they should stick on their allocated budget since if they exceed on that threshold then I guess they are proceeding to became a irresponsible person. If this people know for theirselves that they have certain attitude like this exist then maybe they should think about if they would like to proceed and continue to gamble.
But if they can't afford to lose since and usually they became a blamer and then be held responsible on their actions since if they keep pointing out that other people commit those mistakes then provably that they can achieve a stress free gambling but rather they might have a chance to became a greedy gambler and chase up for losses and possible gains.
