I think the best os is Windows.
Many people also prefer linux, I hear that linuxmint and ubuntu have user-friendly interfaces.
Linux oses are the best value as they are free.

i am using windows 7 for my lap.yet to use other OS other than windows on a full time basis
i prefer linux, i sticked to ubuntu...windows is only a must. I'm not the linux only guy, i grew up on dos, norton commander LOL (i felt like i was cheating the command line using it

Ubuntu is nice too. Looks good and easy to use they have done a good job the last couple of years imo.

I use Windows 10 and is quite stable
IOS and Windows 8.
I do most things on my iPhone, I don't currently have any active servers, but I used Ubuntu and it worked great.
