there is only one, bitcoin itself, use it directly, because it was meant to be used in this way, there are already large merchants that accept it

for the remaining thing use fiat directly, and forget the whole exchange for fiat, unless you do it for trading only

People only really sale BTC right now for the fiat profit. It's not remotely integrated in to the real world enough to just be used as a currency..

Fiat cash is the most secure exchange currency. You do the exchange physically in secure locations. I've been doing it for years and never had the problems people suggest may happen. You just have to use common sense; video surveillance and well populated.

If you're worried about counterfeit money just use one of those markers and check the strip and reverse logos; if someone can counterfeit those they probably have government connections or big capital already which kind of eliminates their need to be nickel and deeming thousands with you..

cash? what? cash is not practical at al, for example how do i buy stuff online? and online website offer much more than phisical website, we are not stuck in 1990 anymore

bitcoin work very well as online payment better than fiat for me

Uhh.. $3.00 prepaid debit cards? They sale them in gas stations now even in rural parts of european countries.. They are MasterCard and Visa. I use them everywhere.

Oh really? Go pay for food, a laptop, a car, or utility bills with it. Show me how much more you know..

If you want to sell btc... there basically isn't any payment that you could receive that is safe and irreversible?  Paypal as many of you know isn't safe such they can reverse it very easily.  I read boa online transfers can be reversed as well.  I had no idea about this since i use boa to receive/send funds for poker funds etc.

But is there really no form of payment that is 100 percent safe and irreversible?  Cash deposit at bank is reversible.  Venmo is as well.  With boa, i read that if someone claims their acct got hacked or if they use someone elses boa, then the boa funds you receive would get reversed.  Neteller and skrill i was told is reversible as well.  Bank wire im told is as well though much harder.

And if you meet someone, well they could even give you counterfeit cash so theres another issue with that.

Why isn't there a payment from a buyer where the funds are 100 percent safe and legit?  I guess the only legit way to go from bitcoin to having funds in your bank account is either sell them to coinbase or circle right?  Or use an exchange then?

This is pretty frustrating.

Paypal is not actually reversible.  Make sure that you mark the payment as a service.  This is an intangible and cannot be refunded.  It the other person does retract their payment, simply call Paypal and advise them that the transaction was for an intangible object and is not eligible for refund, the funds will be placed back into your account and Paypal will deal with them.

If you are receiving payments from a trusted user, every method is safe and irreversible. But payment methods like Perfect Money and OKPay (as these online payments have no chargeback policy unlike PayPal) or cash payments are the safest ones. However, people can even scam using bitcoins as payment as recently there was a case where the user tried to double spend the same funds he sent to a user and the network dropped the transaction. This way people can scam using bitcoins as well.

Of course exchanging bitcoin is not easy and safe as long as the person or the exchange site is not reliable.
And with paypal, like you said, charge back is possible. I prefer perfect money even with new people.

Yeah paypal is a scammers heaven. When doing business you should always use an escrow and avoid paypal.
Bitcoin to an altcoin is a solid trade btw.

we choose the reputational ppl to trade with and we will be safe no matter what methods we are using.
Cash in mail is definitely irreversible.
But the mail could be lost in the way.  Grin
Trading with reputation people is good, still we have come to contact in the name of business so we need to be secure to the most. So even in trading with reputation people using of escrow will increase transaction more secure.

i have been using localbitcoins for all selling of my btc and their users are doing bank transfer and then i will release my bitcoin to the seller after checking my payment received or not. they are using escrow facility which is very good, and i think that transaction is not reversible as it comes to my bank directly.

I agree with you, localbitcoins is good for buy/sell bitcoin.they are using escrow facility which is very good, also i use perfectmoney for exchanging my bitcoin to USD, they have less fee like others. I never worry on irreversible.
I too suggest the same. escrow process is the trust worthy process for selling. They will charge a very very minimal amount which can be paid to make your selling or transaction process 100% safe with irreversible features which gives you the option to stop the trade if you are not satisfied with the trader.

I think if you fund your bitcoin to neteller and than skrill than it will be not reversed by any mean and it will also not flag your skrill account as you are not recieving money from directly selling bitcoin. Don't sell bitcoin in localbitcoin with reversible payment methods, even you don't get chargeback skrill may go through your account to check funds and may lead to account termination i have gone through this.

Other option would be trying to sell it hand to hand or for perfect money (but have heard some claiming system there).

Sure, it is not reversible but there has been instances where scammer used stolen funds from another bank to buy bitcoins and since the funds got transferred to the person who was selling the bitcoins, they were the ones who paid the price for it. So be careful.

How can there possibly be not 1 way to receive money where it isn't safe?  That is really ridiculous.  Is basically selling to coinbase/circle really the only way since those are legit exchanges?

There isn't any because most of those payment methods allow Credit card deposits while Bitcoin doesn't . MasterCard & Visa companies allow their users to make a dispute etc ... and chargeback , that's why It's so easy to chargeback .
Payza & Neteller are little bit hard for chargeback when you send the funds and may get you banned , other then that ... I don't think there is anything safe 100% .
