They will necessary to have a strong community. The community itself will create some awareness of their coin.
If the supporters keep joining into the community, i think the coin will become popular.
The dev of the coin must thinking the strategy to achieve this, such as holding contest, airdrops, meetup, etc.

Not at all, the best way to make a coin popular is team's active marketing, participation and communication to community, and development a project without real product won't survive the market.

That is right; any project that is sure of its product doesn’t have to go through a dice site to make its project popular, a good project has a way of showcasing itself to the world through a very simple advert, no matter the medium used.

Just like you said, the team must really be hardworking to really survive in this market that is so full of lots of competition, and in order for them to stand out among other projects, they need to put all their focus and strength in creating a product that will be very high in demand for it to really gain a very fast attraction to the community.

There are different things that people do to make their altcoins popular. One of which is bounties but it has a quite backfire too. If the one who conducts bounty did not fulfill their promises to the bounty hunters, they will do all their best to knock down the project and it is terrifying because there are thousands of bounty hunters.

and the strategies of these coins have failed. now even Dash is not some interesting coin. I think it will die in the near future.

Some team create not just a dice but an exchange of their own to make their coin more popular. Its not really that working much but there are coins which team had create a strong community with a forum of their own which they can giveaway more coins for the users of their forum. Bitsend seem to be one of this coin what has been around now. Dash I think was also one of the coin that did this.

I have nothing to say about this because it is their prerogative on what to choose,but i support you on why they are just choosing dice sites when lots of site can help them out to explore the whole community and awareness is what we all need hre

I think its much more easy to make a site like that than shop or somthink like that then they will need much more money and technical team to make online shop so dont think you need make vs ,all want make money easy and fastly so one of the way is gambling i mean for site or casino .. owners not players.

There is also huge demand in dice games, in fact, it is more profitable than online shopping, a player will always come back to play dice but there is no guaranty on a shopping site that it can maintain the sales and besides shopping face a tough competition than dice games.

the only way is promotion and listings on large markets. we take the example of a project that does an IEO, they are popular because they sell early tokens in large Exchange like binance. no matter what the project has a purpose, if both of these things have been done even shitcoin can be popular.

They might not gain much of popularity through shopping site, because when it comes to shopping site, it requires the sales of products. Some of these coins have similar products they offer and all trying to get the attention of the same customer.

The only thing a particular project can do using a shopping site to gain popularity is to create such coin and partner with already existing shopping sites but I doubt if anyone of them will accept since Bitcoin is still the most accepted coin, so they will rather deal with BTC than any other coin. The only option still left is to create a dice website.

Moreover, there are already lots of online shopping sites that accepts only cryptocurrency as a mode of payment, but how many of them have you seen are successful yet ? Okay, maybe Overstock and Purse.io, but others are not. So if all coins are going to be focusing on that, trust me it is not going to work. For any project that they are working on to be successful they will have to put their focus on creating a project that is very unique. There are already lots of copied projects and we don’t need anymore of that.

1. The team must have a big partner.
2. choose a large market to register coins.
3. The team must have good loyalty and commitment to the project they hold.
