Best choice would be buying bitcoin at the moment for portfolio. Also both p2e and metaverse projects are having trends on current time. So DYOR for new or old projects based on those categories, than try to pick few of those. Specially, we could buy few EVM chain's like polygon or fantom as many p2e or metaverse based projects are launching into those chains. So those coins will increase at the end because of the adoption, IMO.

Ethereum is going to switch it's earning method from mining to PoS, i have a feeling this will boost the price of ethereum since it's one of the biggest revolution of cryptocurrency. So right now i mostly hold ethereum as my biggest percentage of my portofolio.

If me when market turns bad, i only pick big coins like BTC, to be honest i am not really good in trading so i am not pick coin that i not ready to get dumped more. If bitcoin i think although it dumped, but it will bounce back and price sometimes tend to keep increased.
