It seems the BTC addresses are unending and you generate 200 addresses per year. Is there anyway to profit from that? Anything at all?

BTC addresses only as a reservoir and facilities to conduct transactions and to get it we can do it quickly and easily. Of the features have many BTC addresses can give you an advantage for us, if we have online stores that accept payment using bTC. because that way we can give a sign to everyone who commits a transaction in our store

Impossible for me to generating until 200 address in a year, the generating address is same means with giving a freedom for someone to manage their money and it's can making someone interested in putting or keeping their money into the wallet.

Yes, there is a way. You can create interesting Bitcoin address like this: 1111111111111111111114oLvT2 and sell it to people Smiley

And if you are thinking that you might suddenly get a bitcoin address with money inside while randomly generating Bitcoin addresses, then you'll probably be disappointed. yes theres a way on profiting on bitcoin address.
buy modifying its prefixes and sale it the member who will request it.
theres a lot of services like that in the forum. and i think that is the only waf as far as i know to make profit in bitcoin address. Smiley

I have seen that services in Digital Section before and I wonder how they come up with that "vanity" bitcoin address. As another has pointed out, how can you sell that address if you know the private keys or, how you can convince the buyer?

Nothing. I generate a new address always with my coinbase account and have over 5 blockchain addresses and there is nothing you can really do with an address unless you hold coins in the account and you are reputed enough to get a buyer ready to buy your address even with/without coins and that could make you look shady as it's selling your identity. You can get an address that starts with your name and there are few who sell those addresses for $3 or less.

when I needed confidentiality of any transaction that I did then I would generate my bitcoin address.
it will make me more secure confidentiality. I prefer my account secure.

i don't really think that you can earn from addresses, like someone said you could get money only if someone would send bitcoins to your wallet by mistake

With vanity address generator you can make your own BTC address - and that's all. In Blockchain you can make also your private BTC address, which is not available to public.  Wink

yes. some people are interested in a unique address. so it's possible if someone is interested in your address and want to buy it. you can sell it for high price. it's one of simply way to get bitcoin, so people generate their addresses or they just want to generate without earning profit.
No they themselves can create it(an address with a similar prefix, as the combinations are in more than billions) for little to no effort.

Only way I know of making BTC from BTC addresses is by mining the Clams(an altcoin) on addresses used before CLAM was introduced, and then trading them for BTC

No, you don't earn for generating bitcoin addresses, that would be easy money right.
It could be that someone sends btc to your address by accident, but that doesn't happen alot, so basically the answer is no.

i think OP is talking about Bitcoin Vanity Address generation but he doesn't know how to ask his question properly. i assume this since he said 200 addresses per year because there is no limit for creating bitcoin address and you can make hundreds of random (normally with a wallet) every hour until you get tired.

and if he means that, i have to say there is no much profit in doing that because of lack of trust and especially because there are others who are doing it with some reputation built up, but it is still not safe .

Well... He can use the split-key method, which is safe for both parties involved if i'm not mistaking. However, like you said: other, very trusted members (like Shorena) are already generating vanity addresses this way, and they ask a very minimal fee, so i don't think there is any profit to be made this way.

If you happen to get lucky and find a rare bitcoin address such as one that starts with a long word or a long number then you could potentially sell it. However this would be very hard as you would know the private key so would have access to the wallet. You would have to convince someone that you wouldn't steal their bitcoins. So overall, no you can't profit from it, you could however end up with a really rare Bitcoin address.
people would definitely NOT buying these things because you know the privkey been revealed to more than 1 persons so the money on the specific address could be stolen anytimes, people would prefer generating by themselves than buying,it's more secure

If you are looking for how to multiply your coins, generating bitcoin addresses won't be of help. But you are already on the right track, the money earned from campaigns can be invested in trading.
